It’s England v Iceland in the Nations League on Wednesday night and Betfred are getting in on the action! Simply place a £5.00+ #PickYourPunt Builder bet on England v Iceland and if it loses, Betfred will give us a £5.00 free bet. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £11.25 and here’s how…
Key Terms:
- Applies to our first losing £5.00+ PickYourPunt Builder market bet on England v Iceland that has been built and wagered between 17:00 on Tuesday 17th November 2020 and 19:45 (kick-off) on Wednesday 18th November 2020.
- We must build our own bet with Betfred’s PickYourPunt Builder which can be launched via the #PickYourPunt tab on England v Iceland.
- Following our first losing bet, Betfred will give us a £5.00 free bet.
Qualifying Bet:
It’s not always possible to lay our #PickYourPunt selections, so this should be treated as a speculative offer. If our bet loses, we know that by using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to convert our £5.00 free bet into 80% cash, so £4.00. That means the most we can lose on this offer is £1.00 and we could win big!
It’s entirely up to you which #PickYourPunt selections you go for.
Having looked at the selections available, we could place our qualifying bet on England win / Both teams to score – Yes at odds of 3.25 (9/4).
Free Bet:
If eligible, our £5.00 free bet will be credited by 12:00 on Thursday 19th November 2020 and will be valid until 09:00 on Sunday 22nd November 2020.
The above selection gives us a potential profit of £11.25, meaning we would only need to win 1 in 12 times to break even. It really is too good an offer to miss!
* England won the match 4-0, resulting in a loss of £1.00 on this Betfred offer. *

Guest userHi Matt,
Could I lay a part of this, say £2 which if the bet is successful gives me a win however if the bet losses, in my example the value is reduced and the £5 free bet will still make a net profit?
Or am I getting muddled up?
Matt
1529I’ll be honest Steve, you’ve lost me there…
If you can build something that is layable, by all means lay it off or underlay it. If you can’t find something that is layable, just punt your qualifying bet and convert your £5.00 free bet into £4.00 cash.
