Ladbrokes Free Bet Offer – Liverpool v Chelsea

It’s Ladbrokes free bet offer time again.  If Liverpool’s crunch Premier League clash with Chelsea ends in a draw, Ladbrokes will refund all losing Win-Draw-Win (match betting), correct scores, first goalscorers and scorecasts, up to £25.00 as a free bet.  Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £18.33!  And here’s how…

With these free bet refund offers, we don’t often get a chance to place our qualifying bet on the Win-Draw-Win (match betting) market, so this a novelty.  We need to bet on either a Liverpool or Chelsea win as the draw is no good to us.  Having looked at the odds on offer, I’ve opted for a Liverpool win.

Step 1:

ladbrokes

Place £25.00 on Liverpool @ 1.67 = Potential profit of £16.75

betfair

Lay £24.56 on Liverpool @ 1.75 = Potential liability of £18.42

Step 2:

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the various outcomes…

Liverpool win

+£16.75 – £18.42 = £1.67 loss

Draw

-£25.00 + £23.33 + £20.00 (Assumes an 80% return from our £25.00 free bet) = £18.33 profit

Chelsea win

-£25.00 + £23.33 = £1.67 loss

So we will make £18.33 profit the game is drawn.  Any other result and we stand to lose £1.67, which I’m sure you’ll agree is a risk worth taking as the odds of the match being drawn are around 4.20!
