To qualify for our 5 x £5.00 free in play bets, we must bet £20.00+ pre-match on Man Utd v FC Basel at odds of 1.10 (1/10) or greater. Qualifying bets must be placed between 06:00 on Monday 11th September 2017 and 19:45 (kick-off) on Tuesday 12th September 2017, to be eligible.

With Man Utd being such heavy favourites to win the match at odds of 1.20 (1/5), we may want to consider placing our qualifying bet on another market, as backing Man Utd may arouse suspicion. Each £5.00 free bet can only be used in play on the match it has been credited for and will expire once the match has finished, if it has not been used.
It’s impossible to know what odds will be available until the matches have kicked off but by using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 75% cash from the 5 x £5.00 free bets, so £18.75. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £1.28, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £17.47 on this Ladbrokes offer!
Extracting profit from our free bets can be a little tricky when betting in play. One option is to wait until half-time, as the odds don’t fluctuate as much as when the game is live. If you place your free bet and then something happens in the game that changes the lay odds, it will affect your profit one way or the other.
Another option is to place it on 1-1, 2-1 or 3-1 whilst the score is at 0-0. By selecting a scoreline where both teams score, it reduces the risk of the odds fluctuating unfavourably.
