Key Terms:

  • We must scratch on the Promotion page to reveal the offer.
  • We must click ‘Claim here‘ once the offer has been revealed.
  • We must bet £10.00 on Liverpool v Chelsea between 00:00:01 and 18:30:00 on Sunday 14th April 2019.
  • Qualifying bet must be placed at odds of 1.20 (1/5) or greater.

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

Having looked at the odds available, we could place our qualifying bet on Liverpool in the 90 Minutes market.

At the time of writing, laying our bet at Smarkets gives us the smallest qualifying loss.

We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…

As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £9.71…

William Hill logo

Place £10.00 on Liverpool @ 1.70 = Potential profit of £7.00

Smarkets logo

Lay £9.71 on Liverpool @ 1.77 = Potential liability of £7.47

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

OutcomeBookieExchangeProfit/Loss
Liverpool win+£7.00-£7.47£0.47 loss
Liverpool don't win-£10.00+£9.51£0.49 loss

So, regardless of the outcome, we’ll lose a maximum of £0.49 in qualifying for our £5.00 free bet.

Free Bet:

Our £5.00 free bet will be credited upon placement of our qualifying bet and will be valid on any market for 4 days. Free bet stakes are not included in any returns.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% cash from our £5.00 free bet, so £4.00. If we take into account our maximum qualifying loss of £0.49, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £3.51 on this William Hill offer!

* Liverpool won the match 2-0, resulting in a profit of £3.53 on this William Hill offer. *

I’ve been slightly cheeky and go Liverpool draw no bet at 1.3 then put the free bet on Chelsea @5.0. Either £3 or £20 from the game.

Just be careful placing opposite bets like this with the same bookmaker Dave, as it may arouse suspicion.

We need to place free bets on something with longer odds than our qualifying bets. The aim is to extract around 80% cash from them, so £4.00 cash from a £5.00 free bet. We stand to lose a maximum of £0.49 on our qualifying bet, so that’s where the £3.51 profit comes from.

For more info on extracting 80% cash from a free bet, please see my Free Bet Strategy page.

I don’t post free bet selections @scu11y69. It’s best that we all find our own selections, rather than place them on the same things.

Even if I did post them, odds fluctuate all the time, so there’s every chance you could extract a larger profit by placing your free bet on a different selection.
