Man Utd v Arsenal Offer – BoyleSports

It’s Man Utd v Arsenal in Sunday’s late kick-off and you don’t want to miss this Crossbar Double Winnings offer from BoyleSports! Simply place a pre-match bet on any market for Man Utd v Arsenal and if either side hits the crossbar, BoyleSports will double our winnings as a free bet. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £54.58 and here’s how…

The Terms:

We must opt-in to this promotion to be eligible.

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

If either team hits the crossbar, BoyleSports will double winnings on all pre-match markets as a free bet. The maximum stake for this offer is £20.00 and the maximum free bet is £500.00.

Just to clarify, the ball must strike the crossbar and rebound back into play. The side posts do not count for the purposes of this offer.

Qualifying Bet:

It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bet on. Having looked at the odds available, we could place our qualifying bet on a Draw.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Betfair as they have great liquidity and the site is really easy to use. Also, if we opt in, they’re charging just 2% commission on Premier League Match Odds bets in April 2018.

We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…

As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £18.70…

Place £20.00 on a draw @ 4.75 = Potential profit of £75.00

Betfair logo

Lay £18.70 on a draw @ 5.10 = Potential liability of £76.67

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Draw and crossbar not struck + £75.00 – £76.67 = £1.67 loss
Draw and crossbar struck + £75.00 – £76.67 + £56.25 (extract 75% from £75.00 free bet) = £54.58 profit
Not a draw – £20.00 + £18.32 = £1.68 loss

So, if the match is drawn and the crossbar is struck, we’ll make a nice profit of £54.58. However, if the match isn’t drawn or the crossbar isn’t struck, we’ll have made a maximum loss of £1.68. Risking £1.68 to make a profit of £54.58 gives us effective odds of 33.49, which I’m sure you’ll agree, makes this a profitable offer in the long run.

If eligible, free bets will be credited within 24 hours and will be valid for 7 days. Free bet stakes will not be included in any returns.

If you’re not sure how to extract 75% cash from a free bet, please see my Free Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

* Man Utd won the match 2-1 and the crossbar was not struck, resulting in a loss of £1.68 on this BoyleSports offer. *
