It’s Man Utd v Chelsea in the FA Cup Semi-Finals on Sunday and Betfred are getting in on the action! Simply place a #PickYourPunt Builder bet on Man Utd v Chelsea and if it loses, Betfred will give us our money back as a free bet, up to £5.00. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £16.66 and here’s how…
Key Terms:
- Applies to our first losing £5.00 PickYourPunt Builder market bet on Man Utd v Chelsea that has been built and wagered between 20:00 on Saturday 18th July 2020 and 18:00 (kick-off) on Sunday 19th July 2020.
- We must build our own bet with Betfred’s PickYourPunt Builder which can be launched via the #PickYourPunt tab on Man Utd v Chelsea.
- Our first losing bet will be refunded as a free bet, up to a maximum of £5.00.
Qualifying Bet:
It’s not always possible to lay our #PickYourPunt selections, so this should be treated as a speculative offer. If our bet loses, we know that by using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% cash from our £5.00 free bet, so £4.00. That means the most we can lose on this offer is £1.00 and we could win big!
It’s entirely up to you which #PickYourPunt selections you go for.
Having looked at the selections available, we could place our qualifying bet on Man Utd win / Both teams to score – Yes at odds of 4.333 (10/3).
Free Bet:
If eligible, our £5.00 free bet will be credited by 12:00 on Monday 20th July 2020 and will be valid for 7 days.
The above selection gives us a potential profit of £16.66, meaning we would only need to win 1 in 17 times to break even. It really is too good an offer to miss!
* Chelsea won the match 3-1, resulting in a loss of £1.00 on this Betfred offer. *

Guest userI used btts for the Arsenal Vs Man City match yesterday and Betfred won’t give me the free bet because they said I didn’t build it myself but I did. If you read the small print it says “bets placed using pre-existing pick your punt markets examples do not count”.
Matt
1486As long as you used their PickYourPunt Builder, you should be eligible for the refund Matthew.
Did you have anything else in your selection along with BTTS?
Matthew H
Guest userNo, just btts. I had bother with it sticking to the bet slip too. I’ve just tried a totally random combo for Man utd be Chelsea and had the same problem. I am doing it on my phone. I had to use my laptop yesterday. The bet from yesterday didn’t show as a pick your punt. I contacted Bet Fred and they told me what I said in my previous comment.

Guest userI’ve just tried it again. I added btts and it showed as a pick your punt in the bet slip but doesn’t show as pick your punt in my bet history. They must have changed the rules.
Matt
1486Possibly, though I would always add at least two selections otherwise it’s not really ‘building’ a bet. Maybe that’s why you’re having trouble.

Guest userYeah, I did misread your advice 🙃 it all worked out in the end though 💰
Matt
1486Pleased to hear that Matthew.
