NetBet Offer – Tottenham v Man City

Tottenham host Manchester City today and you don’t want to miss this NetBet offer. Simply place a £5.00+ bet on the Correct Score market for Tottenham v Manchester City and if our bet wins, NetBet will double our winnings as a free bet, up to £25.00. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a risk-free potential profit of £14.76 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

We must opt-in to this offer and place our qualifying bet prior to kick-off (14:15 on Sunday 2nd October 2016), to be eligible.

Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on a 1-1 draw.

If the match is drawn 1-1, NetBet will double our winnings, in free bets, up to a maximum of £25.00.

In order to make this offer risk-free, we just need to lay enough to cover our £5.00 stake. In order to work out our lay stake, we just need to divide £5.00 by 0.98 (to account for the 2% commission), which gives us a lay stake of £5.10.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

NetBet

Place £5.00 on a 1-1 draw @ 7.50 = Potential profit of £32.50

smarkets whiteLay £5.10 on a 1-1 draw @ 8.40 = Potential liability of £37.74

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

1-1 draw + £32.50 – £37.74 + £20.00 (extract 80% from £25.00 free bet) = £14.76 profit
Not a 1-1 draw – £5.00 + £5.00 = £0.00

So, if the match isn’t a 1-1 draw, we’ll have broken even and there’s no harm done. If, however, the match is drawn 1-1, we’ll make a nice profit of £14.76 on this NetBet offer!

If the match is drawn 1-1, our £25.00 free bet will be credited on Monday 3rd October 2016 and will be valid for 7 days. Free bet stakes will not be returned with any winnings.
