It’s time for another fantastic Paddy Power offer!  Simply place a single bet of £20.00 or more pre-match on Manchester City v QPR and Paddy Power will give us £10.00 in free bets to be used in-play.  Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £7.46 and here’s how…

Paddy Power Offer - Premier League 2014-15

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walkthrough guide on how to place your qualifying bets.

It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bet on, as long as you place it at the minimum odds of 1.50 (1/2) or above.  Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on ‘Both Teams to Score (NO)’ and we can calculate our lay stake by using the matched betting calculator.

paddypower

Place £20.00 on Both Teams to Score (NO) @ 2.10 = Potential profit of £22.00

betfair

Lay £20.49 on Both Teams to Score (NO) @ 2.10 = Potential liability of £22.54

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the following outcomes…

Both teams score (NO) +£22.00 – £22.54 = £0.54 loss
Both teams score (YES) -£20.00 + £19.46 = £0.54 loss

So regardless of the result of the match, we will lose £0.54 in qualifying for our 2 x £5.00 in-play free bets.

Free Bet:

It’s impossible to know what odds will be available until the match has kicked off but by using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% out of the 2 x £5.00 free bets as cash, so £8.00.  If we take into account our qualifying loss of £0.54, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £7.46!

My advice is to wait until half-time to place your free bet and then lay it at the betting exchange.  This is simply because the odds don’t fluctuate as much as when the game is live.  There’s nothing worse than placing your free bet on a market and then something happens in the game that changes the odds before you have chance to get your lay bet on!

If you’re not sure how to extract 80% of the 2 x £5.00 in-play free bets, please see my Free Bet Strategy page for a walkthrough guide on how it should be done.

Correct scores and goal scorer markets seem to be the best markets. Have a look at half-time and you should find something.
