Premier League 2021/22 Offer – NetBet

The Premier League 2021/22 season gets underway on Friday 13th August 2021 and NetBet are getting in on the action. Place a £10.00+ single bet on the top goalscorer and NetBet will give us a £2.00 free bet every time they score a Premier League goal in August and September! Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £8.18 and here’s how…

Key terms

  • Promotion available until 20:00 on Friday 13th August 2021.
  • Applies to single bets placed on the England – Premier League 2021/22 – Top Goalscorer market.
  • Minimum stake of £10.00.
  • £2.00 free bet every time our selected player scores a Premier League goal in August and September.

Strategy

It’s entirely up to you how you play these pre-season offers on the outright markets.

The season starts on Friday 13th August 2021 and ends on Sunday 22nd May 2022, meaning your funds at the betting exchange will be tied up for some time if you decide to lay your qualifying bets.

That’s fine if you have a sizeable bankroll, but if not, make sure you leave yourself enough funds to do reload offers that will be available throughout the season.

You can reduce your overall liability at the exchange by selecting different teams/players for different offers. For example, say you place lay bets on Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea each with a liability of £100, you would only need £100 in your exchange account (not £300) as only one team can win the league.

Of course, another option is to not lay these pre-season offers at all and just let the back bets run. The free bets should cover most of the qualifying stakes and if your selected team/player wins, you’ll make a nice profit.

Qualifying bet

If you’d like more information about qualifying bets and how they work, please see my qualifying bets guide.

It’s entirely up to you which player you go for.

At the time of writing, Harry Kane is available at back odds of 4.00 (3/1) and lay odds of 4.60.

Either exchange works for this offer

Betfair and Smarkets are both great options for this offer. If you’ve not used one of them, now is a great time to give them a try.

  • Money back as cash up to £20
  • 0% commission for 60 days

Outcomes

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

OutcomeNetBetBetfairProfit/Loss
Harry Kane top scores+ £30.00– £31.42£1.42 loss
Another player top scores– £10.00+ £8.55£1.45 loss

So, no matter the outcome, we’ll lose a maximum of £1.45 in qualifying for our potential free bets.

Free bets

We’ll receive a £2.00 free bet every time Harry Kane (Tottenham) scores a Premier League goal in August and September. Free bets will be credited within 48 hours of our selected player scoring and will be valid on any sport for 7 days.

Tottenham are due to play Man City (H), Wolves (A), Watford (H), Crystal Palace (A), Chelsea (H) and Arsenal (A) in August and September. If Harry Kane scores 6 goals, we’ll receive £12.00 in free bets.

Using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to convert our free bets into 80% cash, so £9.60. If we take into account our minimum qualifying loss of £1.42, this gives us a potential profit of £8.18 on this NetBet offer!

* Mo Salah and Son Heung-Min finished joint top scorers with 23 goals each. Harry Kane failed to score a Premier League goal in August and September, resulting in a £1.45 loss on this NetBet offer. *
