It’s PSG v Bayern Munich in the Champions League Final on Sunday night and you don’t want to miss this STS risk-free bet offer! Simply place a £40.00+ in play bet on any PSG v Bayern Munich market and if it loses, STS will give us a £20.00 bonus to use on football. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.00+ and here’s how…

Key Terms:

  • Minimum stake of £40.00.
  • Qualifying bets must be placed in play (20:00 kick-off) on Sunday 23rd August 2020.
  • Minimum odds of 1.50 (1/2).

Qualifying Bet:

If our bet loses, STS will give us a £20.00 football bonus, so we can treat this as a risk-free bet offer.

With risk-free bets, we should be looking for high odds in order to maximise our profit. With a £40.00 stake though, high odds will mean a large liability, so you’ll need to go for whatever odds you feel comfortable with.

We won’t know what odds are available until the match is underway. I’ll use the pre-match odds for Draw in the Match Result market in the following example and I’ll update the bottom of the post with an actual selection after the match.

At the time of writing, laying our bet at Betfair is likely to give us the biggest guaranteed profit.

Betfair are currently offering new customers 0% commission up to £500 for the first 30 days.

If you’re an existing Betfair customer, you can opt in to pay just 2% commission by selecting their Basic reward plan.

For more information about My Betfair Rewards and how to opt in, please see my Betfair 2% Commission page.

We can work out our lay stake by using the ‘Risk-Free Bet’ setting on my matched betting calculator. We can enter £15.00 as our ‘Cashback’ figure as this is the amount we can expect to extract (75%) from our £20.00 bonus, should our bet lose…

Outcomes:

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Outcome Bookie Exchange Extracted Profit/Loss
Draw +£120.00 -£113.29 £6.71 profit
Not a draw -£40.00 +£31.72 +£15.00 £6.72 profit

So, as you can see, with some decent odds, we’ll make a guaranteed profit of £6.00+ on this STS offer!

If eligible, our £20.00 bonus will be credited by 15:00 on Monday 24th August 2020 and will be valid on football markets for 5 days. Bonuses must be wagered 6 times at odds of 1.80 (4/5) or greater, before it can be withdrawn.

If you’re unsure how to extract £15.00 cash (75%) from a £20.00 bonus, check out my Bonus Rollover Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

* PSG were available in play at back odds of 3.90 and lay odds of 4.40. Bayern Munich won the match 1-0, resulting in a profit of £6.54 on this STS offer. *

The bonus doesn’t appear in the betslip. Am I right to think that I need to deposit another £20, place that, and hope that loses while calculating it as an SNR bet?

Scrub that – I just need to place 6 bets at close odds right?

Yes Joe, your bonus just needs to be wagered 6 times at odds of 1.80 (4/5) or greater within 5 days of it being credited.
