We should place our qualifying bet on either team to win as that will also qualify us for Bet365’s 2 Goals Ahead Early Payout Offer, where they’ll pay us out if our selected team goes two goals ahead, regardless of the final result. Early payout offers are well worth a look if you haven’t already!
Having looked at the odds available, we could place our qualifying bet on Liverpool in the Full Time Result market.

We can calculate our lay stake using the ‘Qualifying Bet‘ setting on my Matched Betting Calculator…
As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £47.13…
Place £50.00 on Liverpool @ 2.30 = Potential profit of £65.00
Lay £47.13 on Liverpool @ 2.46 = Potential liability of £68.80
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…
So, regardless of whether Liverpool win, lose or draw, we’ll lose a maximum of £3.82 in qualifying for our £50.00 free bet.
Free bet
Our £50.00 free bet will only become available once the match starts and must be used in play. Free bet stakes are not included in any returns.
It’s impossible to know what odds will be available until the match has kicked off, but we should be aiming to convert our £50.00 free bet into around 75% cash, so £37.50.
If you’re unsure how to convert free bets into cash, please see my free bets guide for a walkthrough of how it should be done.
I’ll use back odds of 8.50 and lay odds of 9.80 for 2-1 Liverpool in the following example to illustrate how things should pan out.
We can calculate our lay stake using the ‘Free Bet‘ setting on my Matched Betting Calculator…
As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £38.34…
Place £50.00 on 2-1 Liverpool @ 8.50 = Potential profit of £375.00
Lay £38.34 on 2-1 Liverpool @ 9.80 = Potential liability of £337.39
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…
So, with some decent odds, we’ll convert our £50.00 free bet into around £37.50 cash.
If we take into account our maximum qualifying loss of £3.82, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £33.68 on this Bet365 offer!
* Liverpool won the match 2-0, resulting in a profit of £33.70 on this Bet365 offer. *

Guest userI receive this offer usually – however, it states that I should bet 25 GBP, never 50GBP. Should I try to qualify with a 50 pound bet or should I stick with 25? Do they maybe send out different offers to different customers?
Thank you!
Matt
1531Yes the offer varies per customer Nane. Staking £50 won’t get you a £50 free bet, but staking £50 might help you get the £50 version next time. It’s not guaranteed though, but might be worth a try.
Deej
Guest user@Nane, very few customers will receive the £50 offer now, even fresh accounts will get £25. 365, even though adding billions to their worth last year are getting tight ha. They used to do a risk free £50 everyday at Cheltenham until last year!
Iain
Guest userI do matched betting for other people so must have 8/9 b365 accounts and I’ve never once been offered any of these. Any idea why that might be? Not gubbed on any.
Matt
1531It’s difficult to say Iain. Do you ever place any bets on football with them?
Danny
Guest userMissed this offer for first time in quite a while, reckon it will affect my chances of getting the invite in future?
Matt
1531I wouldn’t have thought it would affect your chances of getting a future invite Danny, though unfortunately we’ve no way of knowing what their eligibility criteria is.
