There’s a big Sunday of Premier League and FA Cup football to look forward to and you don’t want to miss this William Hill Scratch of the Day offer! Place a £10.00 bet on any football market on Sunday and William Hill will give us a £5.00 free bet to use on any sport. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £3.50 and here’s how…
Key Terms:
- We must scratch on the Promotion page to reveal the offer.
- We must click ‘Claim here‘ once the offer has been revealed.
- Promotion will run from 08:00 until 23:59 on Sunday 28th June 2020.
- We must place a £10.00 win or £10.00 each way bet on any football market on Sunday 28th June 2020.
- Qualifying bet must be placed at odds of 1.20 (1/5) or greater.
Note: The order in which you scratch seems to be irrelevant. Some users may not be eligible for the offer and some users may receive a variation of the offer such as ‘Bet £5, Get £2’ or ‘Bet £20, Get £20′.
Qualifying Bet:
If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
It’s entirely up to you which horse you place your qualifying bet on.
We can place our lay bet at Betfair or Smarkets.
We can calculate our lay stakes using my matched betting calculator.
Free Bet:
Our £5.00 free bet will be credited upon placement of our qualifying bet and will be valid for 4 days on any sports market. Free bet stakes are not included in any returns.
By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% cash from our £5.00 free bet, so £4.00. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £0.50, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £3.50 on this William Hill offer!

Guest userIs there any reason you don’t put your calculator on certain offer pages anymore? Used to find it quite handy to be able to use it whilst on this page instead of having to flick between pages. Not a criticism in any way just curious..
Matt
1490Hi James.
I only include the calculator on pages where I’ve included an example to help illustrate how it all works.
If I’ve not included it, like this offer, I do always link to the calculator which should open in a new window for you to use without having to leave the post you’re viewing.
Hope that helps.
James
Guest userYeah I did notice it was linked at the bottom, just used to find it handy having it on the same page on all your offers that’s all!
Matt
1490No worries James. I haven’t actually changed the format of the posts, I just like to keep the posts as tidy as possible where I’ve not included an example bet.

Guest userIt’s been about 5 months since I had anything match from WH on this promotion.

Guest userFuming with this. My William Hill account was hacked by someone and all the money was stolen. William Hill reopened my account under a new name and email and reimbursed the stolen cash but now I don’t seem to get the offers any more. The scratch of the day offer for me now is bet £5 and get a £2 free bet.
So thanks hackers, you have ruined a nice income stream I had from William Hill.
Matt
1490That sounds very unfortunate Paul. What other offers have you been missing out on?
