It’s Tottenham v Bayern Munich on Tuesday night and you don’t want to miss this Bet365 ‘Bet £50, Get £50’ offer! Place a pre-match single bet on Tottenham v Bayern Munich and Bet365 will give us a free bet equal to our largest pre-match bet, up to £50.00, to use in play. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £33.85 and here’s how…
Key Terms:
- This offer is invite only, available to customers who have received the promotional email, web message, text message, pop-up or mobile notification.
- We must place our qualifying bet on Tottenham v Bayern Munich before 20:00 (kick-off) on Tuesday 1st October 2019.
- We’ll receive a free bet equal to our largest pre-match stake, up to a maximum of £50.00.
- The free bet will only become available once the match has kicked off.
Qualifying Bet:
If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
We should place our qualifying bet on either team to win as that will also qualify us for Bet365’s Early Payout promotion, where they’ll pay us out if our selected team goes two goals ahead, regardless of the final result.
Having looked at the odds available, we could place our qualifying bet on Bayern Munich in the Full Time Result market.
At the time of writing, laying our bet at Smarkets gives us the smallest qualifying loss.
We can calculate our lay stake using the ‘Qualifying Bet‘ setting on my matched betting calculator…
As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £47.30…
Place £50.00 on Bayern Munich @ 2.10 = Potential profit of £55.00
Lay £47.30 on Bayern Munich @ 2.24 = Potential liability of £58.65
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…
Outcome | Bookie | Exchange | Profit/Loss |
---|---|---|---|
Bayern Munich win | +£55.00 | -£58.65 | £3.65 loss |
Bayern Munich don’t win | -£50.00 | +£46.35 | £3.65 loss |
So, regardless of the outcome, we’ll lose £3.65 in qualifying for our £50.00 free bet.
Free Bet:
Our £50.00 free bet will only become available once the match starts and must be used in play. Free bet stakes are not included in any returns.
If you’re unsure how to extract cash from a free bet, please see my Free Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
It’s impossible to know what odds will be available until the match has kicked off, but we should be aiming to extract around £37.50 cash (75%) from our £50.00 free bet.
I’ll use fictional odds for 2-1 Bayern Munich in the following example to give you an idea of how things should pan out.
We can calculate our lay stake using the ‘Free Bet‘ setting on my matched betting calculator…
As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £38.34…
Place £50.00 on 2-1 Bayern Munich @ 8.50 = Potential profit of £375.00
Lay £38.34 on 2-1 Bayern Munich @ 9.80 = Potential liability of £337.39
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…
Outcome | Bookie | Exchange | Profit/Loss |
---|---|---|---|
2-1 Bayern Munich | +£375.00 | -£337.39 | £37.61 profit |
Not 2-1 Bayern Munich | -£0.00 | +£37.57 | £37.57 profit |
So, with some decent odds, we’ll extract around £37.50 cash from our £50.00 free bet.
If we take into account our qualifying loss of £3.65, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £33.85 on this Bet365 offer!
* Bayern Munich won the match 7-2, resulting in a profit of £33.85 on this Bet365 offer. *

3I used to get this £50 offer but now only get it for £10 do you know how I can get it back to £50?
Mark
Guest userPlacing a few £50 stakes on teams and laying might work, if doing it keep to the matches that qualify for the 2 goals up offer
Chris
Guest userAh, not just me then. This just dropped to £10 for me as well.
Liam
Guest userNo chance.
Stephen H
Guest userThe same thing happened to me Joe I think losing some money with them helps, try doing some matched betting and hope to win on the exchange.
Richard
Guest userI only got £25 usually $50
Vicky
Guest userI’m down to £25 but I’ve only really done these offers so not surprised
Paul
Guest userHow to get back this invite offers cause i stop betting months ago and I wondering what should I do now.

Guest userWhy are my comments always deleted?
Matt
1490Your comments aren’t deleted Stephen.
Sometimes the system will place them into a ‘pending’ queue which I then need to manually approve.
That usually only happens with users that are relatively new, so once you’ve posted a few times, they’ll be published automatically.

Guest userGuys, I wouldn’t stress, I’ve had bet £50 get £50 majority of the time. I’ve been dropped to £25 before and even not had the other before and it’s come back at a later date. I wouldn’t say this is an indication of the health of the account.
I’ve now got £25 and a load of mates who use this offer have between £10 and £25. So either they’ve reduced the offer for everyone and it will never be bet £50 get £50 again or this is just a one off.
Just out of interest – Matt, did you personally get bet £50 get £50?
Matt
1490The offers posted are not a representation of my personal accounts Deej.
Bet365 have advertised the offer as a £50.00 maximum free bet so it’s definitely still available to selected customers.

Guest userI am now back up to £50 from £25, I use bet365 to place horse racing arbs most days, staking on average £40 per bet, not sure if this has anything to do with it.
Deej
Guest userCheers for that Matt – if they’ve advertised it with £50 max then no need for anyone to stress. Probably reduced it for most just because Spurs have a habit of throwing away 2 goal leads this season so they don’t want to get hammered by their 2up offer 😂
Matt
1490It’s an interesting theory Deej… there could well be a few goals in this one.
Rajesh
Guest userI got 10 in-play but made 70 in the end when score was 2-4 on over 7.5 goals
Matt
1490Nicely done Rajesh!
