Qualifying Bet:

We must opt-in to this promotion and place our qualifying bets before 12:45 on Saturday 13th August 2016, to be eligible.
We must have made a deposit and placed a real money bet of at least £5.00 within the last 30 days to be eligible for a free bet credit. This is something we’ll need to keep an eye on but we should place a fair few bets with Unibet over the course of the season anyway via other offers and mug bets.
It’s entirely up to you who you place your qualifying bet on. Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Sergio Aguero of Manchester City.

Place £30.00 on Sergio Aguero @ 4.50 = Potential profit of £105.00
Lay £23.77 on Sergio Aguero @ 5.70 = Potential liability of £111.71
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the following outcomes…
| Aguero top scores | + £105.00 – £111.71 = £6.71 loss |
| Aguero doesn’t top score | – £30.00 + £23.29 (£23.77 minus 2% commission) = £6.71 loss |
So, regardless of who finishes top scorer, we will lose £6.71 in qualifying for our potential free bets.
Free Bets:
We will receive a £5.00 free bet every time Sergio Aguero scores two or more goals in a Premier League game. Free bets will be credited within 72 hours and will be valid for 7 days.
If Aguero goes one better and scores a hat-trick in any league game, Unibet will give us 10 free spins on Starburst in addition to the £5.00 free bet.
Sergio Aguero scored two or more goals in five Premier League games last season. If he repeats that tally, we would receive £25.00 worth (5 x £5.00) of free bets, from which we would extract 80% as cash, so £20.00. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £6.71, this gives us a potential profit of £13.29 on this Unibet offer!
NOTE: If you do not wish to have funds tied up in your Smarkets account for the duration of the season, you could let your back bet run as a punt. Aguero should score two or more goals in enough games to cover part of your £30.00 stake and if he finishes as top scorer, you’ll make a nice profit of £105.00 in addition to the free bets.
