Unibet Offer – Tottenham v Liverpool

Tottenham welcome the visit of Liverpool in today’s early kick-off and you don’t want to miss this Unibet offer! Simply bet £10.00+ pre-match on Tottenham v Liverpool and if the match finishes 0-0, Unibet will refund losing 1X2 bets as a free bet, up to £10.00. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £7.65 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

We need to place our qualifying bet on either Tottenham or Liverpool to win. This ensures that if the game finishes 0-0, we will automatically be eligible for a free bet refund as our qualifying bet will have lost. Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Tottenham.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…

Place £10.00 on Tottenham @ 2.50 = Potential profit of £15.00

smarkets whiteLay £9.84 on Tottenham @ 2.56 = Potential liability of £15.35

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Tottenham win + £15.00 – £15.35 = £0.35 loss
Tottenham don’t win and game is drawn 0-0 – £10.00 + £9.65 + £8.00 (extract 80% from our £10.00 free bet) = £7.65 profit
Tottenham don’t win and game is not drawn 0-0 – £10.00 + £9.65 = £0.35 loss

So, if the game is drawn 0-0, we will make a nice profit of £7.65. Any other outcome and we’ll have made a loss of £0.35. Risking £0.35 to make a profit of £7.65, gives us effective odds of 22.86, so given that the odds of the match being drawn 0-0 are 11.00, this is a profitable offer in the long run.

If the game is drawn 0-0, free bets will be credited by 15:00 on Sunday 28th August 2016.

If you’re unsure how to extract 80% cash from a £10.00 free bet, check out my Free Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
