William Hill Offer – 4 Means More

There’s a big week of European and Premier League football to look forward to and you don’t want to miss this William Hill offer! Simply place a bet on selected matches this week, and if 4 or more goals are scored in that game, William Hill will give us a 25% free bet win bonus. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us an overall potential profit of £50.00+ and here’s how…

Qualifying Bets:

This week’s eligible matches are as follows…

Fixture Kick-Off Date
Juventus v Barcelona 19:45 Tuesday 11th April 2017
Atletico Madrid v Leicester 19:45 Wednesday 12th April 2017
Anderlecht v Man Utd 20:05 Thursday 13th April 2017
Newcastle v Leeds 19:45 Friday 14th April 2017

Man Utd v Chelsea 16:00 Sunday 16th April 2017
Middlesbrough v Arsenal 20:00 Monday 17th April 2017

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

If 4 or more goals are scored in the match, William Hill will give us a 25% win bonus, up to £100.00, paid as a free bet.

This offer applies to winning bets placed on ‘Match Betting’, ‘Both Teams To Score’ and ‘Match Result & Both Teams To Score’ markets. Qualifying bets must be placed at odds of 1.20 (1/5) or greater, to be eligible.

Free bets will be credited by midday the following day and will be valid for 7 days.

I wouldn’t advise going for the maximum £100.00 bonus on these as it may arouse suspicion. It’s probably best to play it safe and aim for the £25.00 mark.

For this offer to be profitable, we need to be selective with our qualifying bets and only get involved if we can find some really tight odds. We might find our best chance of finding tight enough odds will be in the build up to kick-off.

Having looked at the odds available for Juventus v Barcelona, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Juventus.

Bear in mind that it may be worth placing our qualifying bets on both teams to score as you would expect both teams to have scored if 4 or more goals are scored in the match.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…

Place £100.00 on Juventus @ 2.80 = Potential profit of £180.00

smarkets whiteLay £100.00 on Juventus @ 2.82 = Potential liability of £182.00

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Juventus win and less than 4 goals + £180.00 – £182.00 = £2.00 loss
Juventus win and 4 or more goals + £180.00 – £182.00 + £36.00 (extract 80% from £45.00 bonus) = £34.00 profit
Juventus don’t win – £100.00 + £98.00 (£100.00 minus 2% commission) = £2.00 loss

So, if Juventus win and 4 or more goals are scored, we’ll make a nice profit of £34.00. Any other outcome and we’ll lose £2.00. Risking £2.00 to make a profit of £34.00, gives us effective odds of 18.00. Given that the odds are around 7.50 for Juventus to win and over 3.5 goals in the match, this is a profitable offer in the long run.

If you’re unsure how to extract 80% cash from any free bet, please see my Free Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

This offer is available on all selected matches this week. It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bets on. I’ll update the following table with my selections after the games have been played…

Fixture Selection Back Odds Lay Odds Qualifying Loss Potential Profit
Juventus v Barcelona Juventus 2.80 2.82 £2.00 £34.00
Middlesbrough v Arsenal Arsenal 1.571 1.57 £0.66 £10.76
