Betfair Free Bet Offer – Ryder Cup Bet £10, Get £10

The Ryder Cup tees off on Friday and so it’s time for a Betfair free bet offer!  Simply place a single bet on the Day 1 foursomes winner market and receive a £10.00 free bet to use on Day 2 foursome winner market.  They’ll also be offering the same again on Day 2 for a free bet on Day 3!  Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a minimum guaranteed profit of £14.00 and here’s how…

Betfair Ryder Cup Offer

Qualifying bet:

If you’re new to matched betting, check out my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walkthrough guide on how to place your qualifying bets. Betfair have been clever in choosing the Day 1 foursomes as their qualifying marker as this is a market that not many betting exchanges are covering.  Despite your qualifying bet being with Betfair, I would recommend laying with the Betfair exchange just this once unless one of the other big betting exchanges opens a foursomes book closer to tee-off. You may have to wait until nearer the time to place your lay bet too in order for liquidity.  The qualifying bet for Day 2 can be placed on any market with a Day 2 prefix.

Aim to lose no more than £2.00 (2 x £1.00) in qualifying for your 2 x £10.00 free bets.

Free Bet:

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract at least 80% of our £20.00 worth of free bets (see my Free Bet Strategy page), so approximately £16.00. If we take into consideration our estimated qualifying loss of £2.00, we should make a guaranteed minimum profit of £14.00 on this offer.
