Place £10.00 on Bubba Watson @ 9.00 = Potential profit of £80.00
Lay £10.29 on Bubba Watson @ 8.80 = Potential liability of £80.26
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the two outcomes…
| Bubba Watson wins | +£80.00 – £80.26 = £0.26 loss |
| Bubba Watson doesn’t win | -£10.00 + £9.77 + £8.00 (80% of £10.00 free bet) = £7.77 profit |
So if Bubba Watson wins the 2015 Phoenix Open, we will make a small loss of £0.26. If he doesn’t win, we will make a nice profit of £7.77 on this offer.
