Qualifying Bets:

The tournament gets underway at 12:45 today (Thursday 15th June 2017). The 3-balls are played on Thursday and Friday and the 2-balls are played on Saturday and Sunday.
This offer applies to all of our 3-ball and 2-ball selections.
It’s entirely up to you who you place your qualifying bets on, as long as you place them on the US Open ‘3 Balls’ market. Having looked at the odds available for the 1st Round, I’ve opted to place a qualifying bet on Francesco Molinari.
We’ll need to lay our bets on the Betfair Exchange for this offer. Just head to Golf > US Open 2017 > 1st Round 3 Balls.

As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £19.65…
Place £20.00 on F. Molinari @ 2.80 = Potential profit of £36.00
Lay £19.65 on F. Molinari @ 2.90 = Potential liability of £37.33
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

| F. Molinari doesn’t win | – £20.00 + £18.66 (£19.65 minus 5% commission) = £1.34 loss |
So, regardless of the outcome, we’ll lose a maximum of £1.34 in qualifying for our potential free bets.
Free Bets:
For every eagle that Francesco Molinari makes in the 1st Round, we’ll receive a £20.00 free bet by 12:00 the following day.
By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% of any free bets as cash.
Therefore, if Francesco Molinari is able to make an eagle, we’ll receive a £20.00 free bet, from which we can extract £16.00 cash. If we take into account our maximum qualifying loss of £1.34, this gives us a potential profit of £14.66!
