The Ryder Cup 2018 gets underway in Paris on Friday and SportPesa are getting in on the action! Simply place a bet on the Outright Winner and if Europe win the Ryder Cup, SportPesa will give us a bonus equal to 25% of our stake, up to a maximum of £25.00. As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £101.01…
Place £100.00 on USA @ 2.00 = Potential profit of £100.00
Lay £101.01 on USA @ 2.00 = Potential liability of £101.01
Outcomes:
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…
| USA win | + £100.00 – £101.01 = £1.01 loss |
| Europe win | – £100.00 + £98.98 + £20.00 (extract 80% cash from £25.00 bonus) = £18.98 profit |
| Draw | – £100.00 + £98.98 = £1.02 loss |
So, if Europe win, we’ll make a nice profit of £18.98! Any other outcome and we’ll lose a maximum of £1.02. Risking £1.02 to make a profit of £18.98 gives us effective odds of 19.61. So, given that Europe are odds of just 2.10 (11/10) to win, this is a profitable offer in the long run.
