Power Up Offer (16:15 Kempton) – Paddy Power

There’s a big day of racing at Kempton on Wednesday and you don’t want to miss this Power Up offer from Paddy Power. Simply bet £10.00 or more on the 16:15 at Kempton at odds of 1.50 (1/2) or greater and Paddy Power will give us a Power Up to use on any sport. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £9.00 and here’s how…

Key Terms:

  • Minimum stake of £10.00.
  • Qualifying bet must be placed at odds of 1.50 (1/2) or greater.
  • Qualifying bets must be placed between 18:00 on Tuesday 8th January 2019 and 16:15 (race-off) on Wednesday 9th January 2019.
  • Maximum stake for the Power Up is £100.00.

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unsure about how to place qualifying bets, check out my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bet on. Having looked at the odds available, we could place our qualifying bet on Admirable Art (9/4).

We can calculate our lay stakes using my matched betting calculator.

Aim to lose no more than £1.00 on our qualifying bet

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Admirable Art wins+£22.50-£23.50£1.00 loss
Admirable Art doesn't win-£10.00+£9.00£1.00 loss

So, regardless of the outcome, we’ll lose £1.00 in qualifying for our Power Up.

Power Up

Our Power Up will be credited within 2 hours of the race ending. The maximum stake when using the Power Up is £100.00.

We just need to find some close back and lay odds and select the Power Up once our selection has been added to our betslip.

The boosted odds should give us an arb and hopefully a nice profit of around £10.00. If we take our qualifying loss of £1.00 into account, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £9.00 on this Paddy Power offer.

* Admirable Art failed to win the race, resulting in a profit of £9.00 on this Paddy Power offer. *

These power ups have been poor lately, unable find an arb. One else found one?

Ste im the exact same, its impossible to find a way to get it to work. Ladbrookes basically give you the equivalent power up without the need to bet.

This offer was OK first few weeks, they used to boost a whole point on 5/1 to 6/1 but now only 0.5 so the boost is worthless now, not worth bothering with these offers anymore

I’m new to match betting so thought I’d try this ‘Power Up’. Waste of time. Qualifying bet cost me £1.31 (odds changed last min as I was about to place). Cannot find any way of making profit as the boost is only 0.2 – 0.5. Think I won’t do these in future, especially if I’m making a loss – James

Same here just going to use it for a normal bet or a different qualifying bet
