Despite the lack of mainstream sport to bet on at the moment, there are still plenty of options and you won’t want to miss this Free Bet Club offer from Betfred! Simply place a bet on three different table tennis matches across Saturday or Sunday and Betfred will give us a free bet equal to our average stake, up to £10.00. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £5.00 and here’s how…

Key Terms:

  • To claim the maximum £10.00 free bet, we must place 3 bets totalling £30.00+.
  • Qualifying bets must be placed at odds of 1.50 (1/2) or greater.
  • Both pre-match and in play bets will count towards this offer.
  • Applies to different table tennis matches taking place across Saturday 28th March 2020 or Sunday 29th March 2020.

Qualifying Bets:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

We’ll need to lay our bets at Smarkets.

We can calculate our lay stakes using the matched betting calculator.

Aim to lose no more than £1.00 on each of our 3 qualifying bets

So, we’ll lose approximately £3.00 in qualifying for our £10.00 free bet.

Free Bet:

Our £10.00 free bet will be credited by 12:00 on Monday 30th March 2020 and will be valid for 7 days.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% cash from our £10.00 free bet, so £8.00. If we take into account our total qualifying loss of £3.00, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £5.00 on this Betfred offer!

No odds showing up on Smarkets, i’m just getting ‘bid’ and ‘ask’, what’s that about?

Basically means there’s not enough money on that market yet. Which is understandable given the sport!

Utterly comical!! So so desperate are they that it’s now sunk to Table Tennis? Just out of curiosity I had a look at Smarkets for this and it’s laughable. Virtually no liquidity in anything and hardly any matches actually being offered at the same time on both Betfred and Smarkets.

Surely it’s time for the bookies to just do the decent thing and forget it all until regular sport returns? It’s almost insulting now. Scraping up anything to feed the habit of some people who really could do with this period as a break from addiction when they are so many more important things their money needs to be spent on – if they have any money at all.

    Truly pitiful.
