Don’t miss this Winner offer on one of the biggest fights in boxing history.  Simply place a £10.00 bet via mobile on Floyd Mayweather Jr v Manny Pacquiao and Winner will give us a £5.00 mobile free bet to be used on Tottenham v Manchester City.  Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £2.86 and here’s how…

Winner Mayweather v Pacquiao

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walkthrough guide on how to place your qualifying bets.  You will need to use the matched betting calculator to calculate your lay stake.

The terms and conditions of this offer state that qualifying bets must be placed via mobile and at minimum odds of 2.00 (EVENS).  Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Manny Pacquiao…

Place £10.00 on Manny Pacquiao @ 2.75 = Potential profit of £17.50

Lay £9.32 on Manny Pacquiao @ 3.00 = Potential liability of £18.64

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the following outcomes…

Manny Pacquiao wins+£17.50 – £18.64 = £1.14 loss
Manny Pacquiao doesn't win-£10.00 + £8.86 = £1.14 loss

So regardless of the result of the fight, we will lose £1.14 in qualifying for our £5.00 free bet.

Free Bet:

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% out of the £5.00 free bet as cash, so £4.00.  If we take into account our qualifying loss of £1.14, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £2.86!

If you’re not sure how to extract 80% of the £5.00 free bet, please see my Free Bet Strategy page for a walkthrough guide on how it should be done.

Great site here and thank you for what you do :),I’ve got to admit I broke from my normal “risk free” approach in this one and just did a straght back bet on Mayweather , £16 on Betfair for an £10.18 profit, normally I hate risking money, but as a boxing fan with a (somewhat) knowledge of the sport, I just had the feeling “money” (as he calls himself) would win,as I knew he would keep “The Pacman” as bay with his defensive ways and hit him when he could, and it turned out to be an easy Mayweather points win,and no I never paid £20 or whatever on Sky Box office to to watch it, I listened to it for free on Five 5 :).

Great stuff Mr P! I don’t blame you to be honest. I too called it right with a points victory to Mayweather, though I didn’t put any money on it.
