As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £25.19…
Place £25.00 on Wales @ 1.30 = Potential profit of £7.50
Lay £25.19 on Wales @ 1.31 = Potential liability of £7.81
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the three outcomes…

| Wales don’t win having been leading at half-time | – £25.00 + £24.69 + £20.00 (80% extracted from £25.00 free bet) = £19.69 profit |
| Wales don’t win having not been leading at half-time | – £25.00 + £24.69 = £0.31 loss |
So if Wales are leading at half-time and go on to lose, we will make a nice profit of £19.69! Any other outcome and we will have made a loss of £0.31. Risking £0.31 to make a potential profit of £19.69 gives us effective odds of 64.52, which I’m sure you’ll agree makes this a very profitable offer in the long run.
