So, if the Chiefs win by 5 points or less, we’ll make a nice profit of £34.04. Any other outcome and we’ll have made a maximum loss of £1.17. Risking £1.17 to make a profit of £34.04 gives us effective odds of 30.09. So, given that the Chiefs are odds of 7.00 to win by 1-5 points, this is a very profitable offer in the long run.
