So, if the British & Irish Lions win by 5 points or less, we’ll make a nice profit of £7.92. Any other outcome and we’ll have made a maximum loss of £0.62. Risking £0.62 to make a profit of £7.92 gives us effective odds of 13.77. So, given that the British & Irish Lions are odds of 5.50 to win by 1-5 points, this is a profitable offer in the long run.
