BoyleSports Offer – Scotland v Ireland

Scotland host Ireland in the 6 Nations this afternoon and BoyleSports are getting in on the action! Simply bet £20.00 on the First Tryscorer in Scotland v Ireland and BoyleSports will give us a £10.00 free bet to use on the First Tryscorer in England v France. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.51 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

To qualify for the £10.00 free bet, we must place a bet of £20.00 on the First Tryscorer in Scotland v Ireland, which kicks off at 14:25 on Saturday 4th February 2017.

It’s entirely up to you who you place your qualifying bet on. Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Conor Murray.

We’ll need to lay our bet on the Betfair Exchange.

We can calculate our lay stakes using my matched betting calculator…

Place £20.00 on Conor Murray @ 17.00 = Potential profit of £320.00

betfair

Lay £19.48 on Conor Murray @ 17.50 = Potential liability of £321.49

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Murray scores first try + £320.00 – £321.49 = £1.49 loss
Murray doesn’t score first try – £20.00 + £18.51 (£19.48 minus 5% commission) = £1.49 loss

So, regardless of who scores the first try, we’ll lose £1.49 in qualifying for our £10.00 free bet.

Free Bet:

Our £10.00 free bet will be credited upon placement of our qualifying bet and must be used on a First Tryscorer in England v France (16:50 on Saturday 4th February 2017).

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract at least 80% of the £10.00 free bet as cash, so around £8.00. If we take into consideration our qualifying loss of £1.49, we should make a guaranteed profit of £6.51 on this BoyleSports offer!
