Place £20.00 on Ronnie O’Sullivan @ 5.50 = Potential profit of £90.00

Betfair logo

Lay £18.39 on Ronnie O’Sullivan @ 6.00 = Potential liability of £91.95

Outcomes

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

OutcomeBetfredBetfairProfit/Loss
O’Sullivan wins+ £90.00– £91.95£1.95 loss
O’Sullivan doesn’t win– £20.00+ £18.02£1.98 loss

So, no matter the outcome, we’ll lose a maximum of £1.98 in qualifying for our potential free bets.

Free bets

We’ll receive a £2.00 free bet every time Ronnie O’Sullivan makes a century break during the tournament. A century break is where a player scores 100 points or more in a single visit to the table.

Free bets will be credited within 24 hours of our player making a century break and will be valid for 7 days. O’Sullivan made 12 century breaks on his way to winning last year’s World Championship, though the average amount of century breaks for a player that goes deep in the tournament is around the 5 mark.

If O’Sullivan makes 5 century breaks, we’ll receive £10.00 in free bets. Using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to convert our free bets into 80% cash, so £8.00. If we take into account our minimum qualifying loss of £1.95, this gives us a potential profit of £6.05 on this Betfred offer!

* Ronnie O’Sullivan made 5 century breaks before being knocked out in the second round, resulting in a profit of £6.02 on this Betfred offer. *
