The US Open 2016 Men’s Semi-Finals get underway tonight and you don’t want to miss this 188BET offer! Place a bet on either Men’s Semi-Final and if our selection wins 23 or more games but loses the match, 188BET will refund losing bets as a free bet, up to a maximum of £25.00. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £21.23 and here’s how…
Qualifying Bet:
If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.
Qualifying bets must be placed between 00:01 and 23:59 today (Friday 9th September 2016), to be eligible.
Only bets placed on Match Winner and Correct Score in Sets pre-match markets will be eligible. We are only able to claim on one qualifying bet for this offer.
It’s entirely up to you who you place your qualifying bet on, but having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Stanislas Wawrinka beating Kei Nishikori in the Match Winner market.
I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.
We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…
As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £24.21…
Place £25.00 on Stan Wawrinka @ 2.15 = Potential profit of £28.75
Lay £24.21 on Stan Wawrinka @ 2.24 = Potential liability of £30.02
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…
Wawrinka wins the match | + £28.75 – £30.02 = £1.27 loss |
Wawrinka doesn’t win the match but wins 23+ games | – £25.00 + £23.73 + £22.50 (extract 90% from our £25.00 stake refund) = £21.23 profit |
Wawrinka doesn’t win the match and wins less than 23 games | – £25.00 + £23.73 = £1.27 loss |
So, if Stan Wawrinka doesn’t win the match but wins 23+ games, we will make a nice profit of £21.23. If Stan Wawrinka wins the match or wins less than 23 games, we’ll have made a loss of £1.27. Risking £1.27 to make a profit of £21.23, gives us effective odds of 17.72, which I’m sure you’ll agree, makes this a profitable offer in the long run.
Stake refunds just need rolling over twice at minimum odds of 1.90 or greater before we are able to withdraw. The above calculations are therefore based on the assumption that, by using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 90% cash from our £25.00 stake refund.
To claim our stake refund, we must email the promotion code ‘MTSF25’, our bet ID number and our 188BET member code to promo@188service.com using our registered email address by 23:59 (GMT) on Saturday 10th September 2016. Free bets will be credited within 72 hours of a successful claim being submitted.
