Coral Offer – Australian Open – Bet £20.00, Get £10.00

The first week of the 2016 Australian Open is nearly over, but there’s just enough time to take advantage of this Coral offer! Simply bet £20.00 on any Australian Open tennis market before 12:00 (midday) on Saturday 23rd January 2016 and Coral will give us a £10.00 free bet! Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.78 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

Qualifying bets can be placed pre-match or in play as a Win Single bet at odds of 1.20 (1/5) or above to be eligible for the free bet. Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Milos Raonic beating Viktor Troicki.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stakes using my matched betting calculator…

As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £19.67…

Place £20.00 on Milos Raonic @ 1.20 = Potential profit of £4.00

smarkets white

Lay £19.67 on Milos Raonic @ 1.24 = Potential liability of £4.72

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Raonic wins + £4.00 – £4.72 = £0.72 loss
Raonic doesn’t win – £20.00 + £19.28 = £0.72 loss

So regardless of the result of match, we will lose £0.72 in qualifying for our £10.00 free bet.

Free Bet:

Our £10.00 free bet will be credited by 12:00 on Saturday 23rd January 2016 and will expire at 12:00 on Monday 25th January 2016.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 75% of our £10.00 free bet as cash, so around £7.50. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £0.72, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.78 on this Coral offer!

If you’re unsure how to extract 75% of our £10.00 free bet, check out my Free Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
