William Hill In Play Offer – Kyrgios v Berdych

Nick Kyrgios takes on Tomas Berdych in Round Three of the 2016 Australian Open and there’s a William Hill in play offer up for grabs! Place a single bet of £20.00 or more pre-match on Kyrgios v Berdych and William Hill will give us a £10.00 free bet to be used in play on the same match. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.40 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bet on, as long as you place it in play at minimum odds of 1.50 (1/2) or above.

At the time of writing, Nick Kyrgios has back odds of 2.20 at William Hill and lay odds of 2.30 at Smarkets, giving us a qualifying loss of £1.09.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stakes using the matched betting calculator.

Aim to lose no more than £1.10 on your qualifying bet

Free Bet:

Our free bet will be available shortly after the match has officially started and it must be used in play on that match. It’s impossible to know what odds will be available until the match is in progress but by using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 75% out of the £10.00 free bet as cash, so £7.50. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £1.10, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.40!

Extracting profit from a free bet can be a little tricky when betting in play. My advice is to try and get it on during a break (after every odd number of games in a set) in between games or at the end of a set. This is simply because the odds don’t fluctuate as much as when the match is live. There’s nothing worse than placing a free bet on a market and then something happens in the match that changes the odds before you have chance to get your lay bet on!

If you’re not sure how to extract 75% of the £10.00 free in-play bet, please see my Free Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
