Historical Odds
-
Hey guys,
just wondering if some of you know of any website that can show me historical odds and their movement during some particular bet. For example on Betfair you can see the odds movement through before and through the game, but never after. Any suggestions?

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

that’s because the odds don’t move after the game has finished.
+0Yes Jay. You’re question was very vague.
I don’t think the detail that you want is available anywhere. Depends, I think betfair do release more detailed data depending on how much commission you pay.
Not sure if you are looking for horse bets or football bets.
Anywhere will give you the sp’s for horse racing like attheraces.com or racing post to get historic odds if that’s what you mean but won’t show the movements.
There is data here for horses betfair exchange prices:
https://www.betfairpromo.com/betfairsp/prices/
Shows you for horses their morning price on the exchange, their max and min price matched pre event price and the same for in play, its not like a graph of the price movement but shows some markers.
For football I don’t know if betfair have something similar.
But oddsportal.com, football-data.co.uk will show you the historic odds for football matches. Just looking at oddsportal now and it shows quite a bit of detail including the movement of the price before the games, but nothing in play.
Doing a bit of googling and there are other sources coming up so have a dig around yourself.
+0Betfair have archives of odds and their movements that can be accessed if you have an account, I believe
+0If it’s any help, I’m sure bet angel (other software also available) has an odds “predictor” for upcoming events based on historical data.
For example you could take a future event and find out what the predicted odds would be if it was still 0-0 at 60 minutes, useful for back testing strategies.
+0Try oddsportal.com Jay
I use it sometimes to see what price a bet was before the event finished. Might help with basketball, tennis and football.+0Thank you guys 😉
