Is going for the lowest odds suspicious?

  • I’ve read that it’s best to focus on premier league matches to avoid gubbing.

Which of the matches on saturday are worth going for?

The lowest odds are for Man city to win (1.27). The lowest odds maximise the percentage of the bonus you can claim, as long as the odds are above the minimum that the offer requires. If 1.27 is just above this minimum, is it better to go for the next best one (chelsea to win with odds of 1.67) to avoid gubbing? Would it look less suspicious?

Why do people say it’s very difficult and time consuming to find “good” odds? What are “good” odds? Most places seem to offer very similar odds. It doesn’t seem that hard. What am I missing?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    It depends on the offer.

Some offers have a minimum odds to qualify.

Nothing suspicious about betting on Man City by the way, most of the money they take in on that match will be on Man City. You will blend in.

Good odds in the match betting sense is about finding good back odds, but also good lay odds at the exchange. You will get the hang of it quickly but yes usually the lowest qualification losses are on the odds on favourites and premier league games will have good liquidity on the exchanges. It is a good place to start looking.

Plug it into the calculator for the back and lay odds available for a few matches and you will get a feel for which ones are the lowest qualifying losses.
