Laying tennis matches

When laying a tennis match can’t I just bet on the other player? I’m sure it’s a daft question but I can’t work out why!? A tennis match can’t draw right?

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yes, it’s called dutching. For tennis it’s often safer as bookies and exchange rules can differ when there’s a retirement. Bookies may void whereas exchange may settle as a win/lose, meaning you could lose out.
+0Great stuff, thanks mate. Going to have a read now!
+0Another reason it is a good idea is that you place the matched bet on another bookie. It looks like a random mug bet. Might help to keep your account safe.
+0be sure to check that both bookies have the same retirement rules as well!
here’s a list of bookies and what rules they have, but make check the T+Cs because I’m not sure when it was last updated and they do change.
+0word of warning, I lost bet365 a day after dutching tennis matches with betfred. Imagine bets of £40.55 on in play tennis actually flag up more than they help convince a bookie you are mug betting (no one randomly bets amounts like that)
+0Of course, the golden rule of dutching is not to make it look like dutching. Stick to round numbers.
