Multi account set up

  • Fine folks of t’interweb. I’d greatly appreciate some advice.

After getting into MBing in February I managed to clear about £6k. With all I’ve learned on here I’d now say I’m at a reasonable standard where with unrestricted accounts I’m confident I could reach £2k a month profit. However, in the process of learning and making mistakes I have slowly had all my accounts gubbed and restricted. I’ve taken some out in the wifes name but they’ve been quickly gubbed too, despite a different IP address, presumably because of the same home address.

So, I’ve got a list of trusted friends and family who have no interest in betting, so don’t mind eventually getting gubbed, and have agreed to let me set up accounts in their name and they get a % cut. I don’t see this strictly breaks the rules although I’m sure the bookies would say different! What I won’t do is blatantly commit fraud by creating accounts in fake names. What are peoples thoughts on this?

    So here is my plan:
    1) Give my friend some cash to put into their accounts with their own bank cards.
    2) Get a VPN and bet on their behalf
    3) Get them to submit their own ID to the bookies for eventual withdrawals.
    4) Manage withdrawals as the need occurs (hence, I’ll only use trusted friends).

What are the flaws with this please? I know sod all about tech. I understand I need to get a VPN, but do I also need a new device for each account (ie a cheap laptop etc) so they can’t link accounts via computer ID?

I’d be grateful for your thoughts…. Ta.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Guys, i know this has been discussed a lot but only just getting involved. I want to avoid having numerous handsets and sim contracts for different accounts. Can I just use one phone/sim on 3g for all accounts? Obviously I’d avoid using apps and stick to safari or chrome. Can bookies track you like this?

As I understand it, there is dynamic and static ip addresses. I know my phone when I turn on and off generates different ip addresses, use this to tether to a laptop on different accounts.

What I am not sure of if the laptop can be detected that is being used on these accounts.
Ive read about iesnare and blocked. Just wondering if using edge/chrome/firefox for each account is then enough?

Your laptop will always have the same MAC address, so I would avoid using it for more than 1 set of accounts. If you are betting on your other half’s behalf 😉 then stick to the mobile, just use a different brower for each person, but be careful on the IPs, toggle air plane mode on off will change ur IP quicker than restarting the phone but remember to close the other browser first

Sharbster, have you had experience of doing this? Say I have all of my wifes accounts on various tabs in chrome and my dads accounts on various tabs in safari, would I then need to close all of the individual tabs down on safari before I use chrome? Or do you reckon as long as I sign out of each bookie and toggle the air plane on off every time I log in to one of them I can leave both browsers open?

I know this is a grey area to some but I have permission from my wife and dad and they get a cut of any profit. I currently use two individual phones but going forward, if I do the same for my mum I don’t want to get another phone and sim!

Digital fingerprinting is very sophisticated these days and i heard BF invests a lot in this. I dont know why one would risk it where another device can be aquired (with its own connection for non interruption) for a small investment .. kindles dont cost that much £100 ? and you will make what 2k with a fresh account on the first month? dont be stingy

Not being stingy, just trying to be more practical by not having multiple devices and sim contracts. I only really want their B365 accounts for Cheltenham so multiple devices just for that seems a bit much.

Bet365 are tricky as they require address verification, they send a letter with a pin and you enter it in the site, also you need to upload passport before you get a bonus, and if your account is linked to another at same address you don’t get the bet credits bonus automatically, although I did when I asked on live chat.

Someone said about MAC address up above, I don’t think websites can actually see your MAC address unless you allow them too, for example if you download an app, maybe they can see it, but if you use Chrome/Firefox in incognito windows and use their mobile sites, they wouldn’t see it.

I’ve used will hills, Unibet, betfair from same device and they never noticed, however I make a point of changing my VPN address, I use London for one set of accounts and Manchester for the others.

Had some questions regarding this subject from another website. dan42 I don’t recognise your experience! I have had countless 365 accounts setting up on the same device/ip and never had an issue receiving bonuses (including the welcome offer)
Others that are not sensitive to same address/IP/device are:-

    Paddy/Sky/Hills/Unibet/Lads/Coral/Betway (I know!)

Ones that I know are an absolute no:-
    TGP Group/Mansion Bet/Mo play

That’s good to know Orlandosteve, do you ever have more than one account on the go or is it a case of opening a new one once one has been restricted? i.e. are you using the same device/ip for say 2 different accounts at the same time? Do your accounts last very long? My mum and dad are at different addresses so if I logged into 365 from the same device / ip surely that would be a red flag, but switching air plane mode on/off every time should work?

Like you i’ve had a couple of 356 accounts and not had an issue with the verification process Dan mentions although I have all of the necessary documents if needed.

From the guy sitting with 6 phones in front of him, my preference is not to use the same device if possible, esp with the best accounts, but on my main phone i had no issues with 4 hills at the same time, 2 of which were in my name! I always switched the IPs and killed the other browers.

I have a couple of accounts currently and I prefer the route of using different phones for each one however i really hate using phones to do this and was thinking of moving to tablets for more accounts that i have planned, Ideally i would want a new phone number and be able to get text messages on the tablet as well. Any idea which tablet i should be looking at that can be used pretty much like a phone and receives texts

Really need some help on this guys.

Going to try and set up two friends before cheltenham and with time running out before tuesday im not sure what my best way is?

Should i just take out two new phone contracts and use the data allowance to MAKE SURE they both get different IP and device ID’s when registering and betting on new accounts?

Or maybe even buy two cheap laptops and mobile broadband dongles?

Problem ive got is that ive only basically got until monday to get this sorted and im not sure what is the best/cheapest way?

I dont want to risk using the same laptops/pc and home wifi i already use on my own accounts because i dont think its worth the risk of getting gubbed?

Any advice would be greatly welcomed chaps!!

Timj17 – if you’ve got plenty of cash (or credit card room) head to Apple and you can buy a phone, use it and return it within 14 days for a full refund. Do that tomorrow and pop into a local mobile shop for a couple of SIMs

I’ve got mine and 3 SIMs each in a different phone ready for Tuesday and I keep them off my WiFi so they’re not linked

Laptops I find are more difficult as they need a WiFi whereas a phone can use 4G

bar 365, all bookies work fine with a vpn, so if you are going seperate phone per person, it’s fine to use wifi with vpn.
I’ve never tried it, but I have considered the hosted desktop (DaaS) route. I’m sure you could get a free trial to see you over Chelt
