My new acca strategy (maybe)
-
I am trying to get my head round a possible acca strategy I have read up on different methods some put it on four favs at low odds then the 5th game at big odds and extract profit etc etc and some very useful spreadsheets.
Here is my strategy I am trying out I will put 3 five fold accas on, The first bet on all 3 will be on a close game for example man city v chelsea but acca one will back city acca 2 back draw and acca 3 back chelsea and all be layed accordingly, now obviously only one will win which means I will continue laying against this each leg the the other 2 have lost and can now run and if the other four legs win I will get the free bets, which I can tie in with the laying of the acca that won on the first game as all accas will be identical apart from the initial match, I am trying this out and I hope it works out profitable Iet me know if this can work or this has been done before and if so can it work?

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yeah, someone else suggested this on one of the other acca threads. Let us know how you get on.
+0Yes mentioned before and a good idea. Make sure you put all three accas on different bookies or they will get you for abusing promo.
+0Have been doing it this way for months, find it really profitable. Posted it up here a few weeks / months back too, and one or two more have also posted about it.
Good luck with it+0Great thanks Dan after I have been gubbed on alot of sites I now focus mainly on arbs and the accas, the bet 365 one is intresting where they boost your winnings 10% on a four fold not sure whether this can be brought into the strategy aswel
+0An interesting technique. I might have a look into this myself. Cheers
+0Was just wondering with the coral acca offer where you get a free bet up to £25 if one bet lets you down.
Does it mean the last bet in your acca or do you still qualify if you lose the first match in the acca but win the other 4+0Get regular offer updates, tip and tricks, big offer alerts and more straight to your inbox.
If any one leg lets you down i’m sure sebyd101
+0Sounds like a good strategy.
But does the pattern of 4 short favs (1.2s) + a high odds game not make it more obvious to what you are doing.
Surely the bookies will be on the look out for 4 short favs legs and a long odds leg.
+0Do the shops offer the acca insurance?
+0I think it’s useful to have a few approaches up your sleeve depending on fixtures/odds.
I’ll flick between the 2 mentioned above, but also like straight punting 5 lower odds matched at the moment.+0With the 4 legs at short odds and then one at high odds I try and avoid this strategy to be honest, the way I am doing it with the first game would be a close game like chelsea v arsenal or something would do 3x £25 accas one with paddy one with ladbrokes one with coral the first game will bet on home win draw and away win so 2 of the accas will be done straight away the rest of the legs are the same I lay off then each following leg and the final leg there is profit to be extracted because not only do I have to potential winning acca but if the last leg wins I will receive 2 x £25 bets, I have been doing well off this to be honest and hit a lot of free bets and it does not take up too much time. Plus its less likely to get picked up because I just look like a mug punter sticking footie accas on because 2/3 times the first leg loses, I have started to be careful to put my free bets on something more reasonable than at 12.0 shot, I usually try and tie my free bets in with the final leg to guarantee profit then it does not flag up as much. Its working for meI dont know if I am just having a good run on results but pure profit thus far
+0Ok, So I have had a look at something like this strategy over Christmas.
Placing accas across multiple bookies. 4 selections the same across the 3 bookies and the 5th a close match where we back the home win, away win and draw at a different bookie.
We dont lay this 5th leg (doesnt necessarily have to be last, can be anywhere in the accca).
We lay the others sequentially.
Outcome 1 – 4 of the laid legs win and 1 of the h/a/d legs win. So we win the acca money on the winning h/a/d leg bookie, minus the lay money of the 4 legs + 2 x bonus monies from the losing h/a/d leg bookies.
Outcome 2 – 1 of the 4 laid legs loses. We stop laying the other legs. This losing leg covers the back bet at each bookie + the free bet from the winning h/a/d leg bookie. So we are a free bet up.
Outcome 3 – Two or ore legs lose. The first losing leg lay covers the the 3 back bets. No bonus bet so we break even.
I am struggling with one aspect though and that’s the inclusion of the stake in the winning acca (all 4 legs + the h/a/d leg win). If the way I have done is correct then it is a good possible profit from each one. If not then its a small profit and possible loss and not worthwhile.
I know I havnt explained it very well, but if someone can have a look at my spreadsheet to see if I am on the right track, I would be grateful.
Its the figures In cells E14/F14/G14 and E18/F18/G18 that I am looking for clarification of.
