My theory beyond matched betting
-
Hi all have not posted in a while and have seen the forum collapse due to the lack of offers. My online career is all but over now due to being gubbed in the last week by my last few standing accounts. Anyway people will want to argue this but over the last month I turned a 4K bankroll into 21k by something called each way arbing.
The basic jist of this is to pick races with 8,9 16-20 runners and backing certain horses each way. It always works in fields of 16-20 runners where 4 are paid and works in the 8 or 9 especially when there are 2 or 3 outsiders or an odds on favourite.
For example I put 100 ew on a 12/1 shot on bet365 in a 17 runner race. I am looking to lay at 13 on betfair. Let the lay match and as soon as it has take the 12/1. Current position is your down a max of 5 pounds on bf commission. (Use smarkets if you wish)
Then go on the place markets and lay the horse. The odds on 365 are 3/1 (4) as a 1/4 of the odds. On betfair this should be lower and often trading around 3.3/3.4. This means you can play about with the numbers to make a profit but say i lay 120 @ 3.4 to lose 288 I can make around 12-14 on this part after commission. Therefore I’m around a tenner up before the race regardless of what happens.
As my bankroll got bigger I got better at it by doing multiple horses in races and laying the places 3 mins before the start of the race. people can say what they want about me being 17k up from it but I know I have made this money and the theory works if you are sharp at maths can react quickly to mental calculations and I know a few people on here would be able to do it.
Good luck to those who go for it. I will be spending some time at mates houses over the summer and taking a 50 50 cut for the use of their name.

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Whether his numbers are correct or not (i’ve no reason not to believe him). The method is certainly sound and completely different to laying horses blind.
+0Hilarious how Patrick feels it impossible that anyone could possibly have any method of making money that he is unaware of and continues to post “I told you so” on every thread. I’m continuing to do very well on matched betting and have barely touched a horse, with almost all accounts going strong since September 2015. I’m glad to see others are too. Barely bother posting on here now though due to the bottom set Year 9 classroom mentality.
+0El chico if you didnt take advantage of the MBS on tne horses ypu have missed a great opportunity to make money,
+0Hey beastie. Glad to hear your still going strong. I did a little research on my break and read about place issues when there is a non runner. You ever ran into anything like this during this endeavour
+0Ignore that. Just saw you already covered it
+0Sounds good beesty. Might have to take a look at this when there’s no footie on
+0Jeremy – funny we live in the same borough! May need to move the theory into the shops.
Sorry guys had a mad day at work but here is a list of races that are potentially profitable this evening.
6:40 is the best looking one but not the best card. There has probs been a few this afternoon. Will see if I can post a list tomorrow work depending.
+0No doubt this is much more profitable too at weeks with the higher liquity
+0Beesty, thanks for replying. I did not realize you were going in high stakes and raising, which explains things. That does indeed make sense and hitting these races with those amount of horses will utilize the lay odds come race time. For the record i don’t think it’s fantasy. The key I believe is doing these things quickly and efficiently. And as you say it’s not for beginners. Although at those stakes it’s going to be a cash and grab. But a very lucrative cash and grab.
The thing i’m not sure on is getting those lay prices consistently enough. I’d be happy with 5k from this in a month so will keep it in mind when my usual options are out of steam. Personally I’ve been making 1-2K a month sometimes more consistently for some time now. Yes certainly some have options have run dry. But you have to learn to adapt in this game…
Thanks for posting it Beesty. It’s appreciated.
+0Hi sy, wondering if you could she’d some light on how your earning over 1k consistently, I’ve looked down a lot of avenues and the main problem I face is time I can spend sitting at the laptop. I will be looking into each way arbing at the weekend as it seems quite simple when you think of it. Will be playing with smaller stakes until I get my eye in.
On a side note, has anyone here ever downloaded and trading software, if so which one. I’ve also read up on bots which can be used with certain softwares, again does anyone here have any experience of this
+0beesty many congratulations mate, what a result! Whether people believe you or not, that’s no loss to you..don’t see why you would lie no reason to for it and even if you did who cares its the method behind what you’ve done which is appreciated!
Keep it up!
+0Thanks for the support with this was not sure which way people would go. I did want to mention it a bit earlier but wanted to ensure I made enough first before releasing it to the wider community. Got another busy day at work tomorrow so may not be able to do a list but I certainly can for Saturday. Bet365 do 1/4 of the odds on all channel 4 races and this can make some profits as usually it can be a 1/5 for races with runners of 8-11.
I am also interested over the weekend to hear what Johnson has wrote or will write about advanced arbing!
+0I’ve made a fair few fivers here and there betting 20 each way, so I think its a possibility to make some good money if you have the bankroll. But you need a lot of dosh, and the danger of a last minute drop out effecting the places is a very real one
+0This sounds promising, although I’m still trying to get my head around it. Might try it on my partners account. Have you been gubbed from doing this?
+0Been gubbed by 365 but got other ways to get back into it. Right tonight’s list:
6:30 and 7.35 are the 2 best races guide to follow.
