New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

There is a list here Billy. I don’t know much about this stuff and who is responsible for it.

+0I’ve gone into my 12bet account to take screen prints etc and have noticed that they do not have a betting history log only a general search telling you how many bets you placed and the combined total of bets for each date. Nothing specific which surely isn’t right. I have £58.80 in there.
Personally I did not take any freebets from them. I won on the annie power £10 enchanced 6/1 sign up offer and they refused to pay out the enchanced odds after cheltenham saying that i needed to place it same day as the race which is probably a load of bull too because i read the terms and didn’t see that.
+0It doesn’t mean anything to be blacklisted from a site which reviews bookmakers, all it does is give them bad publicity. Have you tried the ‘betting history’ link under the sports section?
+0one email tells me my withdrawal has been processed, one tells me my account has been closed, another tells me my withdrawal of £XXX euros has been processed (not even related to my account)
emails from fun88 and 12bet
what a mess
+0I would have expected a comment from Matt as one of his affiliates seem to be having certain technical difficulties shall we say.
I have never been able to square the circle as to why any bookie would be an affiliate to a self confessed matched betting site.
Remember the value for match betters comes from the bookie not the exchange so why on earth would a bookie want to be an affiliate of this site.
+0Billy blacklisting is decided on level of complaints and nature of complaints i.e withholding funds not paying out etc, such complaints the commissions should be more than aware of. I don’t understand how they can get or obtain a license here in the UK. Unless of course the commission is incompetent and lets them carry on despite the warning signs which HAVE clearly been there with this company for some time. It’s not like they havn’t pulled this kind of thing before. There are plenty of accounts of this with this group if you search the internet.

I have a huge amount of money in these accounts. I tried doing live chats but they just paste a message similar to the email and leave! What can we do? I am NOT happy to lose this money and if we don’t get it back then, although technically he says that this is at our own risk, I feel that Matt should pay out as a gesture of goodwill. In the long run surely he wants to keep us customers happy for his affiliate earnings, donations etc. I feel so depressed now. The bookies CANNOT withhold winnings from bets placed with cash.
+0I hate to say I told you so but I did at the beginning of Cheltenham when everyone was getting excited about these offers. I put a post warning against using them as they were sounding exactly like Bet666 were before last year. I feel sorry for any genuine punters which actually werent matched betting and have now got caught up losing there money aswell.
+0chris everyone in the same boat and no way could matt cover it or should he. Feel your pain though and hope we get somewhere…im almost 2k in the red cos of this and the house is at risk
+0Yeah its not Matts fault at all…I am sure lots of people have probably used these bookies in the past for the welcome offer etc. He wasn’t to know that this was going to happen!
I count myself lucky that I didn’t get involved with their offers, but have my fingers crossed for everyone hopefully it gets sorted!+0It’s a lot for me though…~£1500 which is about 150 hours of work, and since I only work part time that is a huge amount for me. Is there even a phone number for these “bookies”? I might need to delay my house purchase because of this!
+0And if it was obvious before Cheltenham Festival that this would happen then why did Matt endorse these offers? Lots of people have lost £1000s because of him, so he has a lot to answer for.
+0Surely the gambling commission will do something. And then the head of these companies should get a life sentence [shame there’s no capital punishment really in this case. It’s not beyond possibility that some people will even commit suicide due to the lost money so he could in effect be a mass murderer]. And even if we get the money back what about compensation for the time and stress wasted on this nonsense? This really puts me off matched betting!
+0I guess its all your own risk, putting money into one of the less heard of bookies is always a risk…and I guess this thread will be a warning to most people to stick to the big boys!
