Withdrawal Issues 138.com & 12 bet

  • initiated both withdrawals on the 19/3 about £500 pending and nothing contacted chat again and they are saying they were overwhelmed by Cheltenham and are still processing acount checks blah, blah, blah and can i give them until the end of this week. It’s now 10 days on, getting nervous here…

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Shaun I have the same issue. Waiting on £800 between Fun88 and 12bet. I’m really glad I didn’t add 138 to that list. Definitely worrying now, but nothing we can do other than wait and hope I suppose.

I have sucessfully withdrawn about 1k, before this £800, from those site since Cheltenham so at least that’s something to give me hope.

At least it’s all profit from Cheltenham rather than any float I have stumped up myself. Still be a kick in the teeth is they didn’t payout. Fingers Crossed!

They have paid me in the past so I hang into that but this is a very long time but let’s see what happens.

I don’t get it, they are a registered legal company aren’t they? you are clearly going to get your money back surely?

Probably just raising an issue that’s it’s taking an exceptionally long time to get our money back on this occasion.

Umm can see the worry though a lot of money to be waiting on, but i’d be very very surprised if you didn’t get it…

138.com and fun88 are fu*king bookmakers, my withdrawal was pending for 10 days, nobody on chat said me information about it, finally they closed my account from management decision, i don ´t know why until today, they can ´t tell me reason and stole me over £150. Thieves ! They don´t want to comunicate with me.

I have just had an email from Fun88 to apologise for the delay in processing my refund.

They said they had been extremely busy over Cheltenham and because if the large scale bonus abuse they have had to rescreen all accounts.

However your withdrawal request is in the queue for processing.

Anyone know what they mean by “rescreen”.

I was intending to take advantage of the freebets they were offering but the site was so bad I was never able to place a bet. In the end I just withdrew what I had deposited and that is the withdrawal in have been waiting for.

Surely they expect people to take up the offers they make, but then to say there has been significant bonus abuse is ridiculous.

Has anyone else had a similar email

I deposited £75 to do the free bet offer and also couldn’t get on to place the bets so I asked for a refund on 21st March. I went on chat and it had been authorised yesterday so expecting it within 3-5 days.
You a claret by any chance jdrobbo??

I did exactly the same tony, deposited the £75 to do the required 3 bets to qualify for the freebet but could never access the site to place the bets. In the end when I got on I withdrew my £75.

Prehaps thats what they mean by significant bonus abuse.

Well I’m feeling less and less confident about this. Given that all gambling debts are ‘debts of honor’ there seems to be nothing that can be done if they just don’t pay out.

By bonus abuse I guess they can term it as simply as signing up and taking the offers. Which I did do for all four days on both sites, shame I couldn’t lose a bet with them. The funny thing is if it wasn’t for them trying to cover their arses and only allow bets on long odds I would have lost betting on the favourites for low qualifying losses and low liabilities.

£800 in pending withdrawals and £130 left in the accounts. Ouch!

Tried chatting to them again today only to be told they are sorting it by the end of the week, this is going to end in tears me thinks.

    @GrubbyGubber
Gambling debts are enforceable in law in the Isle of Man, where 138.com are based. Also, bets are legally enforceable as of the Gambling Act 2005 in the UK (unless the contract is breached in some way etc.).

But the bookie needs to have the funds to pay.

Remember the 666bet shambles this time last year.
