Withdrawal Issues 138.com & 12 bet

  • initiated both withdrawals on the 19/3 about £500 pending and nothing contacted chat again and they are saying they were overwhelmed by Cheltenham and are still processing acount checks blah, blah, blah and can i give them until the end of this week. It’s now 10 days on, getting nervous here…

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

how would Hills know who uses a mbs?

Well they’ll know who they credited a free bet to because their horse came second, and they’ll know who actually went on and stakes that free bet.

They’re probably just restricting those that abused the MBS by constantly putting the max stake on over and over. I doubt they will ban every punter who ever used MBS, LOL

I hate the term abusing when referring to free bets. If they told bettors how many they were comfortable with them using and go over it you risk getting banned then fair enough. However USING offers that they give to you is in my opinion not a abuse of anything.

    Fun88 on facebook;

FUN88 have requested a thorough report from TGP Europe Ltd, which operates FUN88 in the UK, in respect of FUN88 customers who have had their UK accounts closed due to suspected non-compliance with the terms & conditions applicable to their accounts. FUN88 will review all circumstances and in the event any bets have been incorrectly disallowed, customers will be paid their winnings. FUN88 are working with TGP Europe Ltd to review the operation of all accounts where customers have been effected. It is hoped this process will be completed sooner rather than later and FUN88 appreciates the patience of UK customers in this regard.

Nice E-mail from IBAS after I sent them a query

    Hello Shaun

12bet and 138.com are brands of the same company, which is registered with IBAS as “Xela Holdings”. We are currently updating our website system to make each company’s individual brands more visible – traditionally a bookmaker traded under their own company’s name (e.g. William Hill Ltd) but clearly that no longer suffices and we apologise for any confusion caused.

It is our policy now not to issue press releases like the one you’d like to see because we treat all disputes equally, big or little, scandal or minor frustration. We don’t believe that one person’s dispute should be considered any more important than anyone else’s.

We do not see it as our role to rate or ‘warn off’ people from licensed bookmakers. We are not a regulator, we simply consider the merit of individual disputes people have with their bookmakers and we would be happy to consider yours if you complete the relevant form on our website.

If the actions of a particular bookmaker forced us to remove them from our register we would issue a press release about that.

    Kind regards

    IBAS Case Management Team

Just had this from 138, I did their welcome offer 3 months ago and thankfully didn’t use over Cheltenham.

    Dear Valued Player,

We are writing to you as one of our valued customers in light of some recent press reports following our recent Cheltenham Festival offers in order to clarify the situation.

As a brand we are always aiming to reward and incentivise genuine customers such as yourself, however in order to protect ourselves from abuse we have in place a comprehensive list of terms and conditions so we can prevent abuse from those that we believe are trying to take advantage solely from our promotions. During the festival period we received unprecedented traffic, the majority of which was from genuine customers such as yourself. However we also received a high volume of multiple accounts and bonus abuse, contrary to our terms and conditions. As a result we had to undergo a comprehensive review of all activity over the Cheltenham week, this involved suspending payments during the review, unfortunately this affected some genuine customers and for this we offer our sincere apologies and hope we can rely on your understanding if this did affect you.

The process we took resulted in accounts that were deemed in contradiction of our terms and conditions had their accounts suspended and subsequently closed and all their transactions reversed both for winners and losers.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding on the matter.

    Yours Sincerely

    Head of Operations

The problem is their “brands” were already relatively worthless, it takes decades to build up real value/trust. Perhaps it’s cheaper to relaunch with a new name, even after new shirt sponsorship costs and a couple tv ads, than it is to absorb the Cheltenham losses?

Had the same problems with Fun88, 12bet and 138.com had £300 in each after cheltenham asked me for every form of i/d you can think of which i have provided then received email saying all ok then they have refused all my withdraw requests. Got to speak to them on live chat and just kept saying there will be a press release later this week. All these problems with these bookmakers also made the Sun on sunday. Waste of space i think. GOING BUMP

Hi guys, just read this thread now. Really sorry to hear how many of you have been treated. This is just unbelievably disgusting behaviour. I can’t write here what I would do if a bookie f**ked me over in this manner. I sincerely hope you all get full compensation from this, and that the owners of these companies get taken to the cleaners.

Any news on Fun88? I haven’t had an email saying they will re-open my account; really hoping to get my money back.
