Betfred Price Boost – Man City, Man Utd & Tottenham

There’s plenty of Premier League action still to come this weekend and you don’t want to miss this Betfred price boost. They’ve enhanced Man City, Man Utd and Tottenham all to win to a tasty 6/1! Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a risk-free potential profit of £60.58 and here’s how…

Price Boost Bet:

Maximum stakes for this offer may vary for different accounts, but the following example is based on a maximum stake of £100.00.

Place £100.00 on Man City, Man Utd & Tottenham to win @ 7.00 = Potential profit of £600.00

As all three matches kick-off at different times and don’t overlap, we can lay each leg sequentially for a risk-free potential profit.

Match 1: Middlesbrough v Man Utd (Kick-Off: 12:00)

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

On the first match, we need to cover our original stake of £100.00. If we divide £100.00 by 0.98 (to account for the 2% Smarkets commission), this gives us a lay stake of £102.04…

Lay £102.04 on Man Utd @ 1.68 = Potential liability of £69.38

If Man Utd win – £69.38 = – £69.38
If Man Utd don’t win – £100.00 + £100.00 = £0.00

So, if Man Utd don’t win, the offer will be over and we’ll have broken even. However, if Man Utd do win, we’ll have lost £69.38 so far.

Match 2: Tottenham v Southampton (Kick-Off: 14:15)

So, if Man Utd win, this means on the next match, we need to cover both the £69.38 loss from the first match plus our original stake of £100.00. If we divide £169.38 by 0.98 (to account for the 2% Smarkets commission), this gives us a lay stake of £172.84…

Lay £172.84 on Tottenham @ 1.78 = Potential liability of £134.81

If Tottenham win – £69.38 – £134.81 = – £204.19
If Tottenham don’t win – £100.00 – £69.38 + £169.38 = £0.00

So, if Tottenham don’t win, the offer will be over and we’ll have broken even. However, if Tottenham do win, we’ll have lost £204.19 so far.

Match 3: Man City v Liverpool (Kick-Off: 16:30)

So, if Tottenham win, this means on the final match, we need to cover both the £204.19 total loss from the first two matches plus our original stake of £100.00. If we divide £304.19 by 0.98 (to account for the 2% Smarkets commission), this gives us a lay stake of £310.40…

Lay £310.40 on Man City @ 2.08 = Potential liability of £335.23

If Man City win + £600.00 – £69.38 – £134.81 – £335.23 = £60.58 profit
If Man City don’t win – £15.00 – £6.43 – £17.49 + £38.92 = £0.00

So, if any of Man Utd, Tottenham or Man City fail to win along the way, we’ll have broken even and there’s no harm done. However, if all three teams win, we’ll have made a nice risk-free profit of £60.58!

I’d like to point out that the above workings are based on the lay odds that were available at the time of writing. If the lay odds fluctuate before we are able to place our lay bets, this may result in us making more potential profit, less potential or even a slight loss, so please bear that in mind before deciding whether or not to do this offer.
