Betsafe Offer – Boxing Day Price Boost

The festive Premier League schedule commences on Boxing Day and Betsafe are running a fantastic price boost to celebrate. They’re offering 8.50 (15/2) on Tottenham, Everton and Arsenal all winning. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential risk-free profit of £10.40 and here’s how…

Price Boost Bet:

All three matches included in this price boost kick-off at different times and don’t overlap. Because of this, we can use matched betting to give ourselves a shot at making a risk-free profit by placing a lay bet on each match once we know the result of the previous match.

It’s likely that we will all have different staking restrictions for this offer, but the maximum I was able to place was £11.50.

Place £11.50 on Tottenham, Everton and Arsenal to win @ 8.50 = Potential profit of £86.25

Match 1: Tottenham v Norwich City (15:00)

On the first match, we have to cover our original stake of £11.50.  If we divide £11.50 by 0.98 (to account for the 2% Smarkets commission), this gives us a lay stake of £11.73.

Lay £11.73 on Tottenham @ 1.46 = Potential liability of £5.39

If Tottenham win – £5.39 = £5.39 loss
If Tottenham don’t win – £11.50 + £11.50 = £0.00

So if Tottenham fail to win, the offer will be over and we’ll have broken even. However, if Tottenham beat Norwich City, we will have made a loss of £5.39 so far. This means on the next match we will have to cover both the £5.39 and the original stake of £11.50. If we divide £16.89 by 0.98, this gives us a lay stake of £17.23.

Match 2: Newcastle United v Everton (17:30)

smarkets white

Lay £17.23 on Everton @ 2.32 = Potential liability of £22.74

If Everton win – £5.39 – £22.74 = £28.13 loss
If Everton don’t win – £11.50 – £5.39 + £16.89 = £0.00

So if Everton fail to win, the offer will be over and we’ll have broken even. However, if Everton beat Newcastle United, we will have made a loss of £28.13 so far. This means on the next match we will have to cover both the £28.13 and the original stake of £11.50. If we divide £39.63 by 0.98, this gives us a lay stake of £40.44.

Match 3: Southampton v Arsenal (19:45)

smarkets white

Lay £40.44 on Arsenal @ 2.18 = Potential liability of £47.72

If Arsenal win – £5.39 – £22.74 – £47.72 + £86.25 = £10.40 profit
If Arsenal don’t win – £11.50 – £5.39 – £22.74 + £39.63 = £0.00

So if Arsenal don’t win, we’ll have broken even. However, if Arsenal beat Southampton, we’ll have made a risk-free profit of £10.40!

Please bear in mind that the Everton and Arsenal lay odds may fluctuate before we place those bets, so this may affect our overall profit figure if all 3 teams win.
