BoyleSports Price Boost – Man City & Arsenal

The countdown is on to the new Premier League season and BoyleSports are running another little price boost on the action. They’ve enhanced Manchester City and Arsenal both to win their opening league games from 7/4 to a tasty 3/1! Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a risk-free potential profit of £20.60 and here’s how…

Price Boost Bet:

The maximum stake for this price boost is £25.00.

Place £25.00 on Man City & Arsenal @ 4.00 = Potential profit of £75.00

Match 1: Man City v Sunderland (Kick-Off: 17:30 on Saturday 13th August 2016)

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

On the first match, we need to cover our original stake of £25.00. If we divide £25.00 by 0.98 (to account for the 2% Smarkets commission), this gives us a lay stake of £25.51.

Lay £25.51 on Man City @ 1.27 = Potential liability of £6.89

If Man City win – £6.89 = – £6.89
If Man City don’t win – £25.00 + £25.00 = £0.00

So, if Man City don’t win, the offer will be over and we’ll have broken even. However, if Man City do win, we will have lost £6.89 so far.

Match 2: Arsenal v Liverpool (Kick-Off: 16:00 on Sunday 14th August 2016)

So, if Man City win, this means on the next match, we need to cover both the £6.89 loss from the first match plus the original stake of £25.00. If we divide £31.89 by 0.98 (to account for the 2% Smarkets commission), this gives us a lay stake of £32.54.

Lay £32.54 on Arsenal @ 2.46 = Potential liability of £47.51

If Arsenal win + £75.00 – £6.89 – £47.51 = £20.60 profit
If Arsenal don’t win – £25.00 – £6.89 + £31.89 = £0.00

So, if either team loses along the way, we’ll have broken even and there’s no harm done. However, if Man City and Arsenal both win, we’ll have made a nice risk-free profit of £20.60!

I’d like to point out that the above workings are based on the lay odds that were available at the time of writing. If the lay odds fluctuate before we are able to place our lay bets, this may result in us making more potential profit, less potential or even a slight loss, so please bear that in mind before deciding whether or not to do this offer.
