It’s Man Utd v FC Copenhagen in the Europa League Quarter-Finals on Monday night and you don’t want to miss this Novibet free bet offer! Simply place a £20.00+ single bet on Man Utd v FC Copenhagen and Novibet will give us a £5.00 free bet. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £3.38 and here’s how…

Key Terms:

  • Offer available to those invited via email.
  • Applies to single pre-match or in play bets on any Man Utd v FC Copenhagen market.
  • Minimum stake of £20.00.
  • Minimum odds of 1.70 (7/10).

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unsure about how to place qualifying bets, check out my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bet on. Having looked at the odds available, we could place our qualifying bet on 1/1 in the Halftime/Fulltime market. If you’re unfamiliar with that particular market, ‘1/1’ means Man Utd to be winning at both half-time and full-time.

At the time of writing, laying our bet with Betfair gives us the smallest qualifying loss.

Betfair are currently offering new customers 0% commission up to £500 for the first 30 days.

Place £20.00 on 1/1 @ 1.80 = Potential profit of £16.00

Betfair logo

Lay £19.78 on Man Utd/Man Utd @ 1.84 = Potential liability of £16.61

Outcomes:

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Outcome Bookie Exchange Profit/Loss
Man Utd/Man Utd wins +£16.00 -£16.61 £0.61 loss
Man Utd/Man Utd loses -£20.00 +£19.38 £0.62 loss

So, regardless of the outcome, we’ll lose a maximum of £0.62 in qualifying for our £5.00 free bet.

Free Bet:

Our £5.00 free bet will be credited within 24 hours of our qualifying bet being settled and will be valid for 7 days. Free bet stakes are not included in any returns.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% cash from our £5.00 free bet, so £4.00. If we take into account our maximum qualifying loss of £0.62, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £3.38 on this Novibet offer!

* The match was drawn 0-0 after 90 minutes, resulting in a profit of £3.38 on this Novibet offer. *

Though it said that for the previous offer they had and I was still able to do it without invite. I think maybe their T&C’s need updating.

It’s a strange one. An offer that’s promoted on a bookmaker’s homepage is usually available to everyone, though there is a note in the full terms that states it’s invite only.

Interested to hear how people got on if they did it without an invite…

Free bet in my account this morning and no e-mail invite prior. On their T&C’s for this offer it actually says both things… for customers with accounts and by e-mail invitation so I can understand the confusion.
