Carabao Cup football returns on Tuesday and you don’t want to miss this Sky Bet Soccer Special Super Boost! They’ve enhanced Aston Villa, Leeds and Middlesbrough all to win from 5/2 to a tasty 5/1. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a risk-free potential profit of £21.42 and here’s how…

Soccer Saturday Super Boost:

The maximum stake for this price boost is likely to be £15.00.

At the time of writing, laying our bet with Smarkets gives us the biggest risk-free potential profit.

We can find the acca market via the following link trail…

Smarkets > Football > Accumulators

We can calculate our underlay stake using my matched betting calculator. We just need to open up the ‘SHOW ADVANCED’ section and click the ‘UNDERLAY’ tab…

As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £15.31…

Sky Bet logo

Place £15.00 on Aston Villa, Leeds & Middlesbrough to win @ 6.00 = Potential profit of £75.00

Smarkets logo

Lay £15.31 on ‘Will Aston Villa, Leeds & Middlesbrough all win on Tuesday, August 14? – Yes’ @ 4.50 = Potential liability of £53.58

Let’s have a look at our profit/loss for the two potential outcomes…

Treble wins+ £75.00 – £53.58 = £21.42 profit
Treble doesn't win- £15.00 + £15.00 (£15.31 minus 2% commission) = £0.00

So, if our treble doesn’t win, we’ll break even and there’s no harm done. However, if our treble does win, we’ll make a nice risk-free profit of £21.42 on this Sky Bet Soccer Saturday Super Boost!

* Middlesbrough were the only team not to win their respective match in 90 minutes, resulting in break even on this Sky Bet offer. *

The max bet for this selection is £10 Matt:)

  2. Gareth

When I load the page it shows as profit of £21.42 but when I change it to £10 it only shows £3.12 profit but when I reenter £15 it goes to £4.50. Can you please explain. When you the load the page it gives a different number even if you reenter £15 again.

    1. Jake

Hi Gareth, you need to press ‘underlay’ on the calculator when you have the correct odds and the correct stake in.

    2. Matt

Hi Gareth. The calculator is set to load the ‘UNDERLAY’ by default. If you then amend the stake, it will switch back to normal, giving you an equal profit on any outcome. If you’re looking to underlay, you just need to click the ‘UNDERLAY’ button mate.

  3. James

It’s literally never £15 unless it varies per account?

  4. Joe

I managed to put £15 on. If you can only get £10 on maybe it’s some kind of restriction.

    1. Jake

Anyone else have max stake at £10? Do bookies ever notify you and let you know that you have been restricted?

      1. Matt

Sometimes a bookmaker will reduce the max stake allowed as more punters take up the price boost.

  5. Kim B

Ladbrokes have this on bet boost for 8.6

  7. Ash

  8. Mulgie87

For some reason my max bet is £1.50?

  9. Timmy

So hard to predict the lay odds on these and know what to settle for – they’ve plummeted to 3.6 now! 🙁
