TLCBet Price Boost – Super Sunday Double

There’s a Super Sunday of Premier League action to look forward to and you don’t want to miss this TLCBet price boost. They’ve enhanced Man City and Arsenal both to win from 11/10 to a tasty 2/1! Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a risk-free potential profit of £5.36 and here’s how…

Price Boost Bet:

To be eligible for this price boost, we must stake exactly £10.00.

The normal odds on Man City and Arsenal both to win are 2.10. This means that if our double wins, we’ll receive £21.00 in cash (normal odds) and a £9.00 free bet (price boost up to 3.00). We know that we can extract 75% of any free bet as cash, so in this case £6.75, giving us total cash returns of £27.75 and a profit of £17.75.

Place £10.00 on Man City & Arsenal both to win @ 3.00 = Potential profit of £17.75

As both matches kick-off at different times and don’t overlap, we can lay each leg sequentially for a risk-free potential profit.

We start by placing a lay bet on Man City in the first match. If Man City don’t win, our double has lost and we’ve broken even. If Man City do win, we can then place our next lay bet on Arsenal in the second match. When laying sequentially, we continue placing our lay bets so long as our bets keep winning.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Betfair as they have great liquidity and the site is really easy to use and if we opt in, they are charging just 2% commission on Premier League Match Odds bets until 4th January 2018.

We can calculate our lay stakes using my Sequential Lay Calculator. To calculate our ‘effective’ back odds, we just need to divide our cash returns of £27.75 by our £10.00 stake, which equals 2.775…

Match 1: Crystal Palace v Man City (Kick-Off: 12:30)

Betfair logo

Lay £10.21 on Man City @ 1.30 = Potential liability of £3.06

If Man City win – £3.06
If Man City don’t win – £10.00 + £10.00 = £0.00

So, if Man City don’t win, the offer will be over and we’ll have broken even. However, if Man City do win, we’ll have lost £3.06 so far.

Match 2: West Brom v Arsenal (Kick-Off: 16:30)

Betfair logo

Lay £13.33 on Arsenal @ 1.70 = Potential liability of £9.33

If Arsenal win + £17.75 – £3.06 – £9.33 = £5.36 profit
If Arsenal don’t win – £10.00 – £3.06 + £13.06 = £0.00

So, if Man City or Arsenal fail to win along the way, we’ll have broken even and there’s no harm done. However, if both teams win, we’ll have made a nice risk-free profit of £5.36!

I’d like to point out that the above workings are based on the lay odds that were available at the time of writing. If the lay odds fluctuate before we are able to place our lay bets, this may result in us making more potential profit, less potential or even a slight loss, so please bear that in mind before deciding whether or not to do this offer.

* The matches were drawn 0-0 and 1-1 respectively, resulting in break even on this TLCBet offer. *
