Greyhound racing continues this week and you don’t want to miss this Free Bet Club offer from Betfred! Place a bet on 3 separate greyhound races across Tuesday or Wednesday and Betfred will give us a free bet equal to our average stake up to £10.00. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.80 and here’s how…
Key terms
- Applies to bets placed and settled between 00:00 on Tuesday 26th October 2021 and 23:59 on Wednesday 27th October 2021.
- To claim the maximum £10.00 free bet, we must place 3 bets on separate races totalling £30.00+.
- Minimum odds of 1.50 (1/2).
Qualifying bets
If you’d like more information about qualifying bets and how they work, please see my qualifying bets guide.
The liquidity for greyhound racing does not improve until approximately 5-10 minutes before the race starts. You should therefore only get involved if you’re comfortable with that. If you’ve not done greyhound offers before, you may want to just observe the changing odds or at least use lower stakes until you get the hang of things.
Betfair works best for greyhounds
Betfair is undoubtedly the place to lay your greyhound bets. Their greyhound markets have the best liquidity in the run-up to races.
- Money back as cash up to £20
We can calculate our lay stakes using my Matched Betting Calculator.
Aim to lose no more than £0.40 on each of our 3 qualifying bets
So, we’ll lose approximately £1.20 in qualifying for our £10.00 free bet.
Free bet
Our £10.00 free bet will be credited by 12:00 on Thursday 28th October 2021 and will be valid for 7 days.
Using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to convert our free bet into 80% cash, so £8.00. If we take into account our total expected qualifying loss of £1.20, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.80 on this Betfred offer!

Guest userHi matt, Any idea why some offers are missing in the archives like the 10bet Man city one from yesterday?
Matt
1490Hi Pascal. Only offers with a ‘full guide’ get added to the archive. You can still see old offers though by changing the date at the top of the Reload Offers Calendar.
I didn’t post a full guide for the West Ham v Man City 10Bet offer as the odds for West Ham knocking out Man City (free bet trigger) were a little too high to make it a profitable offer long-term.
Pascal
Guest userThank you. But some of us manage to get pretty low qualifying losses for such offers. But the problem is that when we come back to check on the outcome of the offer, you don’t indicate to show whether a profit or loss was made (outcome). At least get to show the outcome like you do for the rest of the offers.
Matt
1490Hi Pascal. I understand, though it’s not physically possible to post outcomes for every reload offer listed. There are just too many of them.
As you’ll no doubt be aware, I recently changed the reload offers page to include all reload offers, not just those with ‘full guides’. This enables me to list offers that are borderline that people may or may not be able to find suitable qualifying bets for. You’ll need to check the outcomes manually for those. 10Bet actually have a ‘Free wins’ tab on their promotions page that lists the promotions that they have paid out on.
I’ll only be posting outcomes for ‘full guides’ as those are the profit/loss figures that contribute to the main total on the homepage.
