Hi, I’ve placed a £10 bet today to qualify for the £20 free bet, however only received £5 in free bets… anything I may have done wrong?

  Hi Darcy. I think you may have signed up for a different welcome offer, their ‘£25 Free Bet Bundle‘. You need to stake £30 across your next 3 bets to receive another £5 free bet, and you can do that four times for a total of £25 in free bets.
  
  It’s a much longer offer than the ‘Bet £10, Get £20’ offer, and there isn’t as much profit available. I would be inclined to go on Live Chat with them and query why you’ve received a £5 free bet instead of a £20 free bet. You never know, they may give you the £20 as a goodwill gesture.

    This one needs amending in the conditions part Matt, one of the conditions is that its for mobile customers only – I placed the qualifying bet on a desktop and also only got a £5 free bet.

Does ‘mobile only’ mean using their app, or only for an account opened with a mobile phone, or just bets placed from a mobile phone?

  ‘Mobile only’ means you need to place your qualifying bet via mobile, so the app or mobile version of the site. It doesn’t matter what device you used to open your account.

So, I went with this and after a while decided to contact them as the free bets hadn’t been credited to my account. No drama, just need my verification details to lift the “sanction” on my account.

However, it was then revealed I did not qualify for this sign up offer as my IP had been flagged for shared use on their system. Which is impressive considering I’d never heard of BoyleSports before I came across this page. And no one else has access to my phone.

Bit fuming to be honest.

      I can’t see anything in the terms that says you need to use a particular link. As far as I’m aware the welcome is assigned to you based on the device you use to register.

      I contacted them. They said I have a shared IP adress. I am using in fact a mobile phone with data. I think it is better not to trying to qualify for promotions if they do not say quite clear you have that promotion available.

Hi Matt,

So I put a £10 bet on, but didn’t get the £20 free bet. The odds were 1.67 or 4/6.
I don’t think I understand the ‘evens’ term.
I googled it and it said stake should match returns…but if its the same, why would someone bother putting it on.
Or does it mean £10 bet has to pay out double (£20)?

  ‘Evens’ is the same as 1/1 (fractional) or 2.00 (decimal).
  
  If your bet wins, your winnings will be equal to your stake, or as you say, you double your money.
  
  The terms state that the free bet is applied on first settlement of any qualifying bet. That suggests you may be able to place another bet at odds of 2.00 or greater and qualify for the free bet. It might be worth asking BoyleSports for clarification on that before you place the bet.

Had a close one today, signed up and placed my qualifying bet yesterday and the horse came in 1st got my winnings but there was no sign of my £20 in free bets. I queried this today on their live chat and was told that my ip address has been flagged as having a Boyle sports account previously and I did not qualify. Now I’ve never place a bet in my life before a couple of weeks ago when I started matched betting guided by this amazing website, so I know for a fact I will never have had a BoyleSports account, they were adamant that my ip address was unique to my phone and that only I could have had the account. I swiftly withdrew my money and shut the account 😂! Win some and lose some.
