Qualifying bet
- Check the back odds at LeoVegas and the lay odds at Smarkets to find a suitable sports selection at odds of at least 2.00 (evens). Horse racing, virtual sports and esports are excluded.
- Use the ‘Qualifying Bet‘ setting on the Matched Betting Calculator to calculate your lay stake.
- Place your £10 qualifying back bet at LeoVegas within 7 days of registering.
- Place your lay bet against the same selection at Smarkets.
Bet Builder free bets
- Once your qualifying bet settles, you’ll receive 3 x £10 Bet Builder free bets. They’ll be valid for 7 days.
- Compare the odds at LeoVegas and Smarkets as you build a suitable Bet Builder at odds of at least 4.00 (3/1). See ‘How to lay a Bet Builder‘ below for more guidance.
- Place your £10 Bet Builder free bet at LeoVegas, selecting the free bet checkbox on your betslip. Then place the lay bet or bets needed to cover it at Smarkets.
- Repeat for your remaining two £10 Bet Builder free bets.
Limit your qualifying loss to around £0.50 as a rough guide, and aim for £18 cash (60%) from your £30 in Bet Builder free bets. Based on those figures, you should make around £17.50 profit on this LeoVegas offer. Your actual profit will depend on the bets and lay odds you find.
How to lay a Bet Builder
If you’re looking to lay a football Bet Builder, you’re in luck. All you need to do is add the right combination of selections, and you’ll be able to lay your Bet Builder in one bet at the betting exchange.
Bet Builders on other sports tend not to be as straightforward, and you may struggle to lay your bet. In that instance, and depending on the offer, you may want to treat it as advantage play.
