Multi account set up

  • Fine folks of t’interweb. I’d greatly appreciate some advice.

After getting into MBing in February I managed to clear about £6k. With all I’ve learned on here I’d now say I’m at a reasonable standard where with unrestricted accounts I’m confident I could reach £2k a month profit. However, in the process of learning and making mistakes I have slowly had all my accounts gubbed and restricted. I’ve taken some out in the wifes name but they’ve been quickly gubbed too, despite a different IP address, presumably because of the same home address.

So, I’ve got a list of trusted friends and family who have no interest in betting, so don’t mind eventually getting gubbed, and have agreed to let me set up accounts in their name and they get a % cut. I don’t see this strictly breaks the rules although I’m sure the bookies would say different! What I won’t do is blatantly commit fraud by creating accounts in fake names. What are peoples thoughts on this?

    So here is my plan:
    1) Give my friend some cash to put into their accounts with their own bank cards.
    2) Get a VPN and bet on their behalf
    3) Get them to submit their own ID to the bookies for eventual withdrawals.
    4) Manage withdrawals as the need occurs (hence, I’ll only use trusted friends).

What are the flaws with this please? I know sod all about tech. I understand I need to get a VPN, but do I also need a new device for each account (ie a cheap laptop etc) so they can’t link accounts via computer ID?

I’d be grateful for your thoughts…. Ta.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I found a lot of good info from this thread for my multi accounting endeavor.

The only thing I am wondering about now is where I would be sending money from my own PayPal account to my friend’s PayPal account (which I will manage). Although this is fine, would it raise suspicion with PayPal if money is sent back and forth on a frequent basis? My bankroll won’t be that large so I would have to do this to play clever at the start.

    Any advice would be appreciated

I transfer from paypal to paypal but I try to do it as infrequently as possible… No idea if Paypal would ever question it but no point taking the risk if you don’t need to.

Why don’t you get your friend to set up a Betfair account and go for the exchange promotion that gives you £500 commission back.. that way all the bets can go through your friend’s accounts and you don’t have to transfer back and forward.

That is a good incentive by Betfair

I was thinking of keeping it one set of exchanges as to have split liability in the end. But the sending of money would look strange – thanks for confirming.

My initial bank would be £1500 for both accounts so at least at the start with the welcome offers I would probably need to move money where it’s needed. Or just dump everything in the new account, focus on that till i get to the weekly reloads and then divide the bank up when finished. Just pondering

I am currently in the prosesss of making new accounts with my mate. I have bought a new phone and sold my old one (which I used for my old accounts). My question is, do I need to buy a new 4g sim card or can I simply use the same card as I did for the olds accounts? Is there any way for the bookies to traces/ link the old 4g sim card to me? Grateful for any advice!

    Cheers!

    A SIM card costs £1

Whether or not you need one knowing that is irrelevant.

No, I am sorry. There are reasons why I want to keep my sim card. I know it sounds obscure, but I do not pay for the 4g. My 4g provider have done a error, so I do not pay for it. I want to keep it that way, therefore I am asking this question. Hope someone can help:))

use bitcoins to exchange from ‘friends’ PayPal accounts. It will keep your own PayPal address private and NOT linked to gnomimg matched betting profits.

Is you mobile carried provide dynamic IP option – you will have new IP EVERY TIME you turn off your device. Meanwhile, I recommend you to check your IP with sites like whoer.net

    But!

If you going to do multiple accounts with your 4g sim/modem ALONE – you will end soon being banned. Especially take care of CoraI/LB!
If you want to create multiple accounts successfully without losing your money and being scared of its ‘possible’ illegal statue – you have to use anonymity tools not only to change your IP address, but also to mask you computer and payment method…In the case, you can do DOZENS of multiple accounts EVERY WEEK!

    Hi guys

Thanks for all the really helpful info on this thread. I’ve been thinking about multi-accounting for a while now that I’m only down to a few accounts left.

For those of you that have ‘helped’ friends open up accounts, what have you put for a contact number? I was hoping to just use my existing mobile to place bets, resetting the IP address after each back bet rather than set up new phones/tablets etc.

I have bought a new phone and my mate is going to use his visa as payment. Only my 4g card are used on my previous accounts. Do you think this will work? Best to buy a new sim card?

Have a look at the recent fraud case against ex West Ham player Blair Turgott. He withdrew £16k at a casino using a stolen debit card but his case was dismissed because he claimed he was shown a whatsapp conversation with the cards owner saying he could use it!
This case should set a precedent for using someone else’s account for gambling with their permission.

    A question regarding VPN’s.

I intend to go traveling and match bet at the same time and will use a VPN on both accounts. I know that it generates a unique IP per session but is it possible that it would generate an identical IP for one of my accounts down the line that it has for another account previously? Thus linking accounts, which isn’t good.

Or would it never use the same IP again ? Perhaps there is a setting ?

Hi @Booker – thanks for that info – looks like you know what you are doing!

I was just wondering if you could give a bit more info on the anonymity tools for masking your computer and payment method – is that to do with browser fingerprinting or is it something different with options for ways to mask? – Ive seen a few plug-ins available etc not been able to find any concrete / sound advice about it, so any info you could pass on would be v appreciated – thanks in advance 🙂
